When will this stop? Privatize all that is abused. USA Today has more details if interested. Not allowed to publish anything but a link so I found another source for the thread.

One day, this Leftist institution and all other Leftist institutions will be nothing more than rubble, and any complicit in the existence of these Leftist institutions will be listed alongside the Rosenbergs as traitors who got what they deserved.

Why is anybody at the VA getting any bonuses in the first place? It’s not like it’s some sort of commissioned sales job.

Do your job, get a paycheck. Don’t do your job, get fired. In a sane world, that’s the way it would work.

$1,000,000,000 for a $200,000,000 VA hospital in Denver.

$400,000 in moving expenses for two VA employees.

And they’ll fight a Veteran to the death for a nickel.

I’ve never understood why Federal employees get bonuses, especially since we pay their salaries. Does anybody know when this frivolous practice came to be?

This “bonus” stuff has to stop.

Most of these people do not even do a normal day’s work. They get all kinds of other perks too .. some of which are not necessary. They do make more money than non-fed workers do.

And .. if they make a mistake or screw up .. oh well .. and nothing is done about it.

THIS KIND OF IDOIOCY HAS GOT TO STOP.

There are two govt practices that really, really, set me off when I am reminded of them. One is the bonus payouts to employees at any level of any tax funded institution. The other is the ridiculous number of paid time off from their jobs for federal holidays. Personnel should be hired for a job with the expectation, and requirement, that they do the work required. How is it possible for a federal employee to go beyond that? They already have pay grades to move up to increase their salaries. On the holiday issue, I see no rationale for the number of paid holidays which are now not much related to their original intent. They have been scheduled to extended weekends, or enhanced vacations. I think taxpayers should also be compensated for each holiday time off of govt employees by a tax refund computed by some brainy govt mathematician.

“Performance bonuses”

More like rewarding a lack of performance.
