Dale Brigham, a nutrition professor at the University of Missouri, implored his students not to cave in to “bullies†when he said an exam scheduled for today would proceed.
He was apparently talking about the fear among black students owing to threats posted on Yik Yak yesterday.
Brigham’s alleged indifference to his students’ fears led them to savage him on social media, some in incredibly crude terms, and now Brigham has resigned, he confirmed to local station KOMU:
“I am just trying to do what I think is best for our students and the university as an institution,†Brigham said to KOMU 8 News. “If my leaders think that my leaving would help, I am all for it. I made a mistake, and I do not want to cause further harm.â€
Just to be clear, Mizzou did not cancel classes campuswide – professors made that call for their own classes.

Frankly I wouldn’t be surprised if it is the DNC & Obama behind all of this crap.
Looking for a spine at a University is like looking for an honest person in the Halls of Congress.

I bet some of the tents are going flying.
These students are too stupid to realize that the essence of a good education is slipping right through their fingers, and the result will be a piece of paper on a wall that means absolutely nothing.
Skin color may get a person their first job, but the truth is that competence, not color, rules the day long-term.(Unless of course you work for the Obama Administration).
Maybe we should just let these students teach themselves?

should be shut down by the State of Missouri
new faculty and new students to be admitted based on merit and desire to conduct themselves in an responsible adult manner so that the process of education and disovery can be restored on the campus
or something like that. at the very least, sweep out the trouble-making riff-raff. Let them go to the White House and receive awards for their fine ‘community organizing’ efforts on campus, for all I care.

A degree from Mizzou should be seen for what’s it’s now worth....irritating toilet paper.

If a garbage Leftist diploma mill such as UM is shut down because of this nonsense, no right-thinking person should complain.
