Sometimes tasing will fail on a target who is buzzed up on drugs. But again nobody alleges this is the case here. Involuntary movement and consequent “accident” — tragic if so but not deemed a penalizable action in this union-charged modern scene.
From one point of view an abundance of caution can be proffered as an excuse if not a reason, however it sounds more and more that in cases of doubt, chivalry is the thing that has gotten shot dead and its zombies are now what is walking around in blue. The #BLM opportunists are not blind to this and that’s why they are picking on this aspect of society right now.
How does that story support the fallacy that “If you just do what the cop tells you, you won’t get hurt.”?

Now she can stencil a kill decal of a man on her patrol car door. Four more and she is an ace.
All of you saying why didn’t he just put his arms up.. Have you ever been tasered? Much less continuously like she did to him? You lose a ton of muscle control and you hurt. Your first thought is to just curl up.
Even if he did have a weapon, and tried to pull it and shoot her, he’d have a hard time doing so, much less trying to lift and aim, there’s no reason she needed to shoot him. Poor verdict.
