FLINT, MI -- The Michigan chapter of Al Sharpton's National Action Network says the state needs to set up a special court to hear criminal cases against juveniles who may have been poisoned by lead contaminants in Flint water.
"All juvenile offenders arrested, charged or incarcerated in Genesee County that may have consumed Flint water during the period of lead contamination should be tested for lead content in their blood," Sam Riddle, state political director of Michigan NAN, said in a news release.

Go to Chicago and they can get lead poisoning. I am sure Detroit has more than their fare share.
They may actually Get that new “court” in Flint. Detroit probably another good bet. Chicago..yep!

Flint was a great town when I was growing up. It is all a dang shame.

Fortunately when I lived in the Flint area I had well water. It was light brown in color, and tasted like a rusty nail. But no lead to speak of.
A lot of those communities draw their drinking water out of Lake Huron and it is really excellent.

I did a search on the address...to see what the neighborhood looked like and it really broke my heart.

Sample them. If a significant number have lead in their system then test the all. And if lead can cause aberrant behavior then the court should take that into consideration.
