SCIENTISTS claim we are in for a decade-long freeze as the sun slows down solar activity by up to 60 per cent.
A team of European researchers have unveiled a scientific model showing that the Earth is likely to experience a “mini ice age†from 2030 to 2040 as a result of decreased solar activity.
Their findings will infuriate environmental campaigners who argue by 2030 we could be facing increased sea levels and flooding due to glacial melt at the poles.
However, at the National Astronomy Meeting in Wales, Northumbria University professor Valentina Zharkova said fluctuations an 11-year cycle of solar activity the sun goes through would be responsible for a freeze, the like of which has not been experienced since the 1600s.
From 1645 to 1715 global temperatures dropped due to low solar activity so much that the planet experienced a 70-year ice age known as Maunder Minimum which saw the River Thames in London completely frozen.
She said: "In cycle 26, the two waves exactly mirror each other, peaking at the same time but in opposite hemispheres of the Sun.
"We predict that this will lead to the properties of a ‘Maunder minimum.

What does the sun have to do with anything? As we all know, Man is what causes the Earth to heat up or cool down.
One trillion dollars must be immediately allocated to the government to combat this insidious threat.
Will these people ever get the public ridicule they so richly deserve? Memories of most people are incredibly short. Do they not recall how many times doom has been declared? Do they not have anything better to do than worry about foolish predictions “supported” by data they do not understand or that has been so clearly doctored?

The climate change, globull warming freaks are pimping for dollars by preying on the fears of fools who believe them. They have brainwashed the children into to being terrified in the same ways we were terrified of nuclear war and annihilation from that.
Even if this happens, it will do nothing to stop the LIARS of ‘man-caused global warming’ hysteria from pushing their scam- They will simply state “Yes, the sun went into hibernation, but the earth would be much cooler if we hadn’t caused climate change before the sun went into hibernation”
You simply can not win the argument with these THEIVES- they are hell bent on stealing our money- period! and nothing will stop them from committing their crime

It’s those darned solar panels, they’re sucking up all the sun. It could be a disaster in the making if we keep building those things!
And another point- if it’s only going to be a decade, they will simply state ‘man-caused’ climate change took a ‘brief rest’ and that we shouldn’t call it a ‘trend’ because it was ‘so brief’

liberals have erased that ice age, it messed up their charts showing warming.
Maybe they can set up winter snowmobile races from Scotland to Newfoundland (via Iceland and Greenland), if they had figure out a way to have filling stations at appropriate intervals.
The Earth has already been cooling for 10 years. By 2040 that will be nearly 40 years of no warming
