Democrats Credit ‘Trump-Mania’ for Matt Bevin’s Shock Victory in Kentucky Governor Race
Gateway Pundit ^ | Nov. 3, 2015 | Kristinn Taylor

The Executive Director of the Democratic Governors Association, Elisabeth Pearson, issued a statement Tuesday night crediting Donald Trump with creating the political conditions of ‘outsider’ popularity that allowed Republican Matt Bevin to win the Kentucky governor’s race over Democrat candidate Jack Conway.

. . .

““Attorney General Jack Conway ran a strong campaign focused on the issues that matter to Kentuckians: good schools, good-paying jobs and economic opportunity,” Pearson said. “Unfortunately, he ran into the unexpected headwinds of Trump-mania, losing to an outsider candidate in the year of the outsider. While Jack Conway came up just short tonight, his presence in this race strengthened the issues debate in Kentucky.””

Yes, yes, but The Donald is just a flash in the pan who'll drop out, doesn't have any real support, and is sure to lose IA either to Dr. Ben or the Rube. Anyway, who is this dumb Democrat to make such an ignorant remark? After all, those three Great Geniuses Karl Rove, George Will, and Charles Krauthammer all know what's really going on.

The Tea Party, like Trump, has a high floor and low ceiling. Just ask Rove.

Huh? I thought Trump was just a "clown" and "not to be taken seriously".

Now he's responsible for everything dandruff to "unexpected" Democrat defeats?

Bevin was hanging around with Ted Cruz this summer.

It was noted on another thread that this admission by the DIMS demonstrates that Trump has coattails, and he hasn’t even been elected yet.

Then the ‘Democrats’ simply have no clue about what’s going on all around them in America.

Reverse psychology to keep the stupid behind the most liberal republican ever to run for office.

Someone needs to explain to this twit that a 9 point loss, especially when there’s a 3rd party candidate in the race, isn’t “just” coming up short.

Conway got trounced. Just not as bad as Grimes did last year.

And the whining on WaPo over McAwful not getting that State Senate majority is delicious. Particularly since the Post is being honest and saying he needed it in order to help his pal Hillary.

Trump isn’t causing anything. He is the result of something(s).

But he’s smart enough to see what’s up and take advantage.

So Bevins didn’t happen because of Trump but both Bevins and Trump happened because of the same thing(s).

What those things are is the subject of a gazillion articles, newscasts, and conversations.

We want America back and we’ll be taking it back now thank you.

Already fallout from the growing sweep favoring The Donald.

Back in 1984, Ronaldus Magnus managed to take 49 of the 50 states in the Electoral College, leaving only Minnesota and District of Columbia in the Democrat column.

There may be a similar sweep coming, wouldn’t it be great if The Donald could knock off a prize like New York State?

With native New Yorkers in the city getting just a little peeved with their current mayor, that may not be as far-fetched as it seems. NYC is almost outta control, what with the regime in City Hall now coming down so hard on “New York’s Finest”.

Article says a lot about circumstances, but little about Bevin’s appeal. I have heard him on Glen Beck. He has an interesting background and is a really good communicator. That helps and hopefully will help Ted Cruz as well.

Trump will implode any second now. It’s been that way for months. All the bloated, pasty, balding, trendsetters know this.
