TUPELO, Miss. - A man who's known for flying a 4-foot-long Mississippi state flag on his car has been accused of bombing a Walmart in Tupelo because the chain stopped selling the flag, the police chief said Monday.
He said Leonard's silver Mazda is bedecked with stickers of the Mississippi state flag and the Confederate battle flag, and it sports a big state flag on a flexible pole. Leonard was arrested about 2 a.m. for running a red light near the Walmart, Aguirre said.

Ain’t there a county song about this?

“Bubba bombed the WalMart - last night.
They quit selling Dixie Flags - Ain’t Right.
Went to his Mazda - Got a bomb.
Bubba bombed the WalMart - last night.”
The media is gonna love this. You get one lunatic who throws something into a Walmart (I’d be surprised if he had the intelligence to create an actual bomb) and for the media, its Selma all over again!!!
A Terrorist bombs a Wakmart, but the Terrorist does so under the name of the Confederate Flag.
Liberals will have a tough time with this one.
“Leonard did not yet have an attorney who could comment Monday”
Attorneys we contacted in Tupelo were too busy either laughing nervously or shaking their heads to talk to us.
I was drunk the day I threw a bomb in Wal*Mart’s.
I was seeing stars from bein’ in so many bars.
Sadie said old Dixie needs a hero,
And here’s some dyno-mite (I’ll get a cart).
You don’t have to call darlin’, darlin’,
I mean you never even called me at the jail.
Just call my lawyer, then a bondsman,
And tell my momma where to send the bail.
“. . . the package held enough explosive material to damage the store if it had been assembled differently.”
Was it a real “bomb”? Somebody said it may have just been a clock that he built.
“Attorneys we contacted in Tupelo were too busy either laughing nervously or shaking their heads to talk to us.”
It would not be a bad case to take from the Public Defenders office. The lawyer gets his name in the paper and he knows his defendant will be sent away. Better yet, the Feds will soon be slapping charges in the Walmart Bomber and that means lots of cash for his lawyer.
Only if it was rotary-engine, though.

A few of the best cars I have ever owned were Mazdas.
an 808

an MPV 1998 before the so called upgrade.
Leonard Leonard Leonard. You drive a Mazda? Really!?!
Too bad the mayor couldn’t give him “space to destroy”.
