The decision, one of the biggest policy turnarounds in Germany's history, lays bare a lack of coordination untypical for Merkel, a physicist by training and known for her disciplined step-by-step approach.

As the Fukushima disaster approaches its fifth anniversary, Germany's utilities are in crisis and struggling to shoulder the shutdown bill. There are fears the government may have to bail them out.

Germany is already facing billions of euros in costs related to the influx of thousands of refugees, an emissions scandal at Volkswagen and multiple bailouts for its banks.

Fukushima panicked Merkel to de-nuke. But the Islamic invasion was met with open arms. She's a regular Pandora's box.

Unlike Pandora, Merkel’s been running around with her box open. The prime minister in a manner of speaking needs to keep her knees together. Being the slut of Europe in taking on so many is laying the foundation for destroying Germany.

I have a great idea. Why not (a) use birth control to reduce your birth rate to a level that's not sufficient to replace your population, (b) discard your cheapest energy sources, and (c) invite millions of third-worlders into your country and pay them so they don't have to work.

Aren't I clever?

She needs to watch Seinfeld and learn from
George Costanza’s experiment of always doing

She won’t have to worry about cooling costs when EUrope is covered in ice again. The reactors will be cooled by nature and thick ice.

Your plan will only work if Germany throws a couple hundred billion Euros into the Greek money pit.

Merkel is a catastrophically bad leader. Why is she so popular?

Germany hasn’t followed a logical path since Kaiser Willie fired Bismarck. It’s one of those things about smart people doing stupid things. Find an old map of Germany in 1913. Germany used to be about 50% larger than today, even after “reunification”.
