Lose licenses? I want to see them behind bars for at least 20 years and registered as sex offenders.

So that works out to about 167 (rounding off) per year

So, how many are never caught?

And if she would have bite his dick off she would have been charged with attempted murder.

And these so called cops wonder why people hate them.

What’s wrong with arresting them and throwing them into prison for the rest of their lives.

They're police - sacred cows. Don't you know police can do anything they want?

I don’t know you tell me. Also let me know if the unreported cases involved additional officers or were additional victims of the same officers this article is writing about.

Your problem pal. I am not the one playing with arithmetic to make it sound like a drop in the bucket, you are. Your omission was glaring and needed pointing out.

Your loved ones chances of getting justice in this type of crime is only as strong as the evidence, and the legal teams on both sides, regardless of who the perpetrator is.

So you are saying this is a much bigger problem then what is being reported. That may or may not be the case, however, there is no evidence to support that. We can only guess that there would indeed be unreported cases, since there are known unreported rape cases not involving police. But we can't be sure what those numbers may be. We can't say if the unreported cases, if any, would have involved other police, or involved the same police.

I cannot speculate on the unknowns, but I can work with the numbers available. Those numbers show that it is even less than a drop in the bucket.

My glaring omissions as you called them, would have been nothing more than wild accusations and speculations.

The following has nothing to do with a policeman clearly committing a crime when he rapes a woman, but everything to do with your glaring omission claim. Because I am going to touch on something I know you can relate to.

Wouldn't making unsubstantiated accusations & speculations be just as wrong as the labeling all of the veterans who returned from Vietnam, like yourself, as the baby killers taunt was? BTW, I'm the kind of person who thanks you for your service, not one who lumps you together with soldiers that may have killed babies. Those that killed babies, I still want to know the circumstances, because there are times when that is their only option. War is never pleasant, in fact it sometimes requires a soldier to perform an act he would not have done otherwise, and still regrets to this day that he had to.

I clearly think any police who breaks the law should be treated like any other criminal. My wife who works in law enforcement, as a dispatcher, wants them to be treated even harsher. This is true with most cops, as well, because they know these bad apples reflect badly upon those who are trying to do their job honestly, and serve the community.

Now if you can provide substantiated numbers that show this problem is even worse than reported, please do so.

Sorry, I don’t put stock in any “investigation” done by the AP. This is just part of the leftist program to encourage disrespect for the police. Look for more policemen to be murdered as the “journalists” fan the flames of anarchy.

I remember an instance in one locale during the ‘90s. A Sheriff’s deputy had sex with a jail inmate, and there was much local publicity about it. The deputy was not charged with anything, and he kept his job. Considering today’s regime of political folks with government incomes pushing for more local corruption, there have probably been many unrecorded occurrences like that around the country.

So did your locale vote your Sheriff out of office? If not, why not? Why wasn’t the deputy ever charged and why was he allowed to keep his job? Your story gives very little detail which leads me to believe there may be more to the story than you are remembering perhaps?

Too many voters receive their incomes directly or indirectly from government and sympathize with their rackets and the control that they have over them. Some animals are more equal than others.

I am not taking the cop side. I am just wondering where they got the story. I don’t think they say. I would like to know. If they are taking her word, they should explain that. If the cop did it, and I am not saying he didn’t, they should say why they are so sure. Its just journalism 101.

I have never heard of a cop doing this. So, I want to know more. But the lack of information makes me question if he did do it.

Licenses? I did not realize that police had licenses other than driver’s licenses. Private detectives of course do.

Rape at gunpoint under color of law should be a capital offense.

I believe it already is in US code.

So what you are saying is that your locale is a bastion of corruption, and the voters didn’t care about the issue involving the deputy & the inmate. Thus the voters deserve the Sheriff Dept. they have. Somehow then that becomes a problem with the police. You need to rethink who really deserves the blame.

New German Law should be one minor infraction and get your ass deported to country of origin.

And being Islamic should be an infraction.

Holy C)***. I thought the article was saying they were all from Oklahoma City. If those are nationwide numbers over 6 years that’s statistically not measurable.
