Jeb Bushâs campaign, wounded after another mediocre debate performance, is bracing for the possibility that revenue dries up in the coming weeks ahead.
Itâs a striking turn for a campaign that had embarked on a âshock and aweâ approach to fundraising and then delivered a record-breaking haul of $114 million of hard money and super PAC dollars during the first half of the year.

Hah hah!! If you read the article the Dauphin mercenaries are whining and complaining. They thought they had a sugar daddy for the 2016 campaign instead they attached themselves to a fraudster. The complaining shows what happens when you hire mercenaries instead of people actually committed to the cause.

I used to call him the “Dauphin” ala Gainsborough’s “Blue Boy” but I have more recently settled on “El Principe” as the more appropriate moniker. :0)

Speaking of “Dauphins”... I hope George P. (our GLO Commish) has gotten this memo, and limits his aspirations. The GOP(e) mask has fully been revealed. (In the spirit of the medieval theme)

Bush long ago declared that he didn’t want nor need support.

How could anyone spend $ 114 million and end up with results like THESE? He’s dropped from the leader in the polls six months ago to about a third of that support now. I’d rather walk into a Waffle House and hire the first ten people I met to staff my campaign if I were him; they would be paid far less than his wonderful “experts” that cost him a fortune for THIS and would bring some common sense to the campaign.

Common sense is not something one would associate with Jebra.
I wouldn’t hire him to clean toilets at rest stops on the interstate.

Bush should withdraw while he still has some dignity left.
To: C19fan
The GOPe thought they were gonna be able to steamroll Jeb on us all, and we would just grumble and accept it like the other candidates they forced down our throats.
Nope. We have much better alternatives. Buh-Bye!
BTW - George W. and Romney look like utter fools now.

My concern is that on the way out of the race, Jeb will be more effective in trashing the eventual nominee and will provide continuing fodder to the Clintons (his “sister” as Barbara would put it) so that they can put the nominee at a disadvantage, perhaps in the forlorn hope he can more effectively run in 2020.

With 70+ percent in the primary and general election of 2014, I would imagine that George P. considers the sky the limit.
