This morning the first thing I heard on the news reports of this crash is that authorities said it was not a terrorist act.
As soon as I heard that premature politically correct assertion I knew it was a terrorist attack.
Pilot had reported technical problems in flying the plane. The Russian RIA news agency, citing sources at Sharm el-Sheikh, said: “The pilot contacted the dispatcher and reported technical problems, asking for a change of the route and a landing at Cairo airport, after which communication was broken.”
I thought the very same thing. Just too fast a response.
Probably not a missile though. I’d bet bomb. Anybody ever been there? How is airport security? I’d say if isis wanted something aboard it could happen pretty easily there.
