I wouldn’t trust the polls at all.

Trump is pulling in huge crowds at his rally’s and I suspect that Cruz has much more support than the polls show.

At this point they are just push polls.

[I also believe Carson stumbled badly on Wed night as I expected he would. He is totally unqualified and unprepared to be President. I look for him to fade in the newer polls that will be coming out]

Ben Carson has issues with mixed positions on abortion, associations of radical people within his inner circle of advisers, spending habits in his campaign, his views on immigration, death panels, foreign policy....

Need I go on?

Even inside that base there are some real, nagging questions about Cruz. Is he part of the kabuki? Because he checks all those boxes, even though he says all the right things.

Yes and I view Carson as a parking lot for Trump votes. Most of his people will migrate to Trump at some point.

McShame, I think you have to say that he is the all time Top Award Winner for Talking Like A Conservative During Election Campaigns.

If they want a g-d fence we will build a g-d fence.

I would have lined it up Trump, Cruz then Rubio a distant third.

If you could transfer Cruz's intellect, character and message into Rubio's body he would be leading the pack. Sad commentary I know but true.

I disagree that Hillary would clean Cruz’s clock in a debate. The only problem I see is that he would be substantive and she will fight dirty. Cruz needs to learn how to street fight these scumbags.

I was basing that on the average TV viewer....of course Cruz would smash her with facts but remember we live in a society that thinks the Kardashians are people............

She won’t lay a glove on him. However, he has the tendency to talk over people’s heads. Unfortunate, but true. Take for example his reference to the Bolsheviks versus the Minsheviks. Most people don’t understand they were both the same - one minority group and the other the majority. However, maybe it sent people to google to learn something. He was drawing an analogy of the Democrat party and the media. That probably went over a lot of people’s heads.

The GOP nomination is Trump’s to lose. I think he’s the guy and I also think he will sweep the floor with Hillary Clinton.

I would agree, except for one thing. I think that the establishment is going to go "scorched earth", in a way we haven't seen in this country, at least in the modern era. The establishment is going to fight as hard, and as dirty, as any tin-pot despot facing a powerful insurgency. And that means that nothing is certain. The rules they can break, they will break. And the ones they can't break, they'll change.

This isn't over until inauguration day. And even then it won't be over.

My personal feeling is that Cruz would be wasted at VP

My personal feeling is that it's his best path to eventually becoming President.

Take Biden, for example. The guy was polling at about "Graham-level" when he ran on his own. I guess we won't get to find out where he would have landed in this one, but I really think he would have rocketed right to the top or at least into contention with Hillary.

WEll I agree the MSM and the establishment GOP are already throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Trump. Its not working. He’s smarter than them and now his campaign has morphed into a movement which is a totally new animal.

The MSM fights to grant Trump interviews so he can trash talk them over and over. They are in a trap of their greed for viewership.

Reince Preibus could not outwit my dog. He is now running scared because a Trump led coalition of candidates is threatening to leave the reservation.

Trump is neverending. As some guy said in a article today Trump is the atomic sword of truth or something like that. So true.
