The Arena Has 11,000 Seats But 10,000 Will Be Empty At GOP Debate (Stacked GOP-e Audience for Jeb)

While millions will watch the third Republican presidential debate on TV, just 1,000 people will get tickets to see the event in person in the massive Coors Events Center on the scenic University of Colorado campus in Boulder.

CNBC, the cable network sponsoring the debate, didn't respond to questions about why the 11,000-seat arena would remain mostly empty.

"The way it was explained to us by CNBC is the event is meant for a TV audience, not so much for a live audience," said Ryan Lynch, the executive director of the Colorado Republican Party, which will get 200 tickets to split among party donors and elected officials.

The first Republican candidate debate, in Cleveland, had a large number of empty seats too — about 4,500 seats were filled in a 20,000-seat arena.

Lynch says the Republican National Committee also gets 200 seats, the presidential candidates onstage will each get some, CNBC will keep some for itself and the University of Colorado will get 150 seats.

Because you can’t watch a debate inside a stadium.

So, 200 seats goes to the Republican National Committee and there are 100 of them, a man and a woman from each state and each one would have a favorite candidate, they won’t be 100% for one candidate. And, each candidate gets tickets to distribute as they want, so there will be some of their supporters there for sure.

The point is, the Republican National Committee, or any other GOPe group, is not stacking the seats for any one candidate as some have posted here.

Any bets on if George P. was at work today? He’s out of the office more than he’s been doing his duty and honestly earning his tax paid salary. An honest man would resign and return the Texas tax dollars he’s wasted.

a) The Arizona Coyotes are going to play there
or
b) They are manipulating the environment to counter Trump.

I'll take "b" for $400, Alex.

OR: "you Guys should have called me, I could have filled them up for ya".

Let us not overlook the fact that Boulder Colorado is a leftist ghetto and finding 100 Republicans would be very difficult.

ROTFLMAO!

It’s so OBVIOUS CNBC is trying to present a FALSE REALITY in order to control the Narrative that Trump is not popular.

This is an Establishment trap.
