The left chortled on Monday after learning the results of a new Gallup poll showing an all-time low for Tea Party support. According to Gallup, just 17 percent of Americans say they support the Tea Party, with 24 percent calling themselves opponents and 54 percent saying they have no opinion.

“The Tea Party” of course is not dead .... but a nation
They’re still very much alive and still making a difference. They just know they’re being monitored. It’s just radio silence for the moment. Good SOP these days.
That's the MSM and the DNC whistling past the grave yard.
The MSM has a news blackout where the TEA PARTY is concerned or else only reports derogatory news about them... then says ‘The Tea Party’ is dead....
Now THAT'S unbiased and professional ‘journalism’. (Sarc)
Take out the Tea Party and there is no Cruz, Trump and Carson. The remaining is Bush. So easy to see if you are looking. The Tea Party is stronger than ever.
Of course the Tea Party is around. The thing is, waiting for who? Like the military, being attacked and in a trench while the bombs drop, we need an active battle plan. NOW. The final year of this administration is going to be a blitzkrieg.
While the campaign for president goes on, the administration continues its assault. Where is our air support? Where are our propagandists who need a media outlet? And who gave the stand down order? Did those who inspired us pull a Bergdahl?
Would those who lead the TP at the start come out of the trenches and rendezvous TOGETHER to get something done?
actually the organized TP is dead. Obama killed it.
rather than rise up and yank obama from the whitehouse nothing happened. those that were the TP passively watched as their organizations were destroyed and showed no emotion or strength to oppose.
The DOJ let Lois lerner go free with nary a ripple
In truth, the TP has come back to life, take a look at the outsiders, Carson,Cruz, and Trump. This is the time of the outsiders.
as a national organization, you’re right. Locally, not so much. There are a number of small groups fighting on. Also, we are finding common ground with other groups. It is not as simple as the survey suggests.
They are lying low because they don’t want to keep being targeted by the Obama Admin. They are not getting new members because people thing, “I don’t want to join that IRS audit group.”
Where are all the reports about OWS being dead. Chirp...chirp...chirp.
It wasn't "just me." There were other speakers on a day long program. I've spoken to leaders all around the country to try to do film presentations. Half are gone, others tell me their membership is next to nothing.
This DOESN'T MEAN people won't come out and vote, but it does mean that the phenomenon called the Tea Party has nowhere near the consistent influence it had.
Organization names come and go, but Ideas are much harder to isolate and kill. It looks like a lot of folks are keeping their powder dry and waiting for the enemy to over commit.

Oh yeah? and what do you suggest we do? Rise up and yank oblamea from the white hut? How's that going to work? It's easy to sit at your keyboard typing that the Tea Party is cowardly. What are YOU doing? Are you willing to get arrested? Go to prison? Get beat up by the police? Have your life savings confiscated and your finances ruined? Tell me what we are supposed to actually DO about the government goons letting Lerner off.
The Media and the Marxist Left of this country (but I repeat myself) seem incapable of understanding that there is no Tea Party in the sense of a large organized political party. As victims of a modern American education and therefore only semi-literate they’re probably not familiar with the word “amorphous”. But that’s the one which pops into my head when the term “Tea Party” is mentioned. In this respect it resembles another popular revolutionary movement called the Sons of Liberty. There may have only been a couple dozen “formal” members hunkered down in Boston tavern, but thousands of quiet sympathizers turned out when called with muskets, shot, and powder.
of course.....my record as activist speaks for it’s self.
there should have been tens of thousands marching on the mall giving obama pure hell.
they actually did come one cold March day, in the blowing snow, and scared the democrats to death. It was that outpouring that induced the president to sic the IRS on the TP.
What to do..... what to do?
how about showing up in Washington, on the mall or Pennsylvania ave by the tens of thousands? that would be a start
Let them think we’re dead.
