With Thursday's interminable, pointless, haranguing, disorganized, utterly amateurish attempt at a smear job, the Republicans and their tenth-rate congressional attack schnauzer, South Carolina's Trey Gowdy, got people feeling sorry for Hillary Clinton. Over the course of 11 long hours, they made the most eloquent argument for a Hillary Clinton presidency yet offered by anyone, including Clinton herself.

She is crass and unfeeling. Those are only the less serious character flaws she possesses. The hearings also showcased Mrs. Clinton’s ability to lie with ease—without even batting an eye. The woman is a sociopath. She did nothing to quell the feelings of a majority of the public that feels she is untruthful.

Exactly. The left puts out one lie after another without anyone on our side refuting it. The old saying is so true here that if a lie is repeated often enough it becomes the truth. The Democrats lie through their teeth, and through every orifice of their bodies, but since nobody on our side takes them to task, or wages an agressive media campaign to combat them, they’re getting away with everything.
The mainstream press IS playing it this way....let’s see what happens.
The email issue arose from a FOIA request from Judicial Watch as I recall.
I don't know that any (And I could be wrong) criminal information has been uncovered by this committee.
As for the legitimate role of oversight, I think they accomplished that long ago when they discovered Clinton was negligent on security requests, and she lied about the Video.

The laws do not apply to the left. If they get nabbed by one, they just sue and the judicial tyrants change the law.
I think they brought out a good point, in that no one in the State Department has paid any price for their incompetence. It may not be punishable now, but it should resonate with voters if the message is delivered.
