I don't have to cite you anything.

Because you can't. E-Verify as a voluntary information service is fine. As a mandatory system it is illegal.

It is illegal for an illegal alien to work in this country and it is illegal for an employer to hire them.

There is nothing wrong with making it illegal to hire an illegal alien. There is something terribly wrong with enforcing that law over citizens.

It is why we have the Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9. The 1986 Immigration Act requires it. E-verify makes the process easier and stops the rampant fraud attached to the I-9 process.

Which is why it is and should be held unconstitutional. An I-9 is effectively a Federal work permit.

There are more effective means the Constitution provides to rid the country of invaders without empowering the Federal government to decide whether or not you can enter a private contract.

It is the law of the land. It has not been held as unconstitutional. Did you fill one out? E-verify is nothing more than making the I-9 process more effective and less subject to fraud. It should be made mandatory just like the I-9.

Shutting off the job magnet is one of the best ways to stop the invaders from coming. The Federal government should have this tool to protect our national security and the American worker. The Federal government is already empowered. The fact that you don't accept it means nothing in terms of its implementation. How you ever filled out an I-9?
