Cruz: America ‘one more liberal justice’ away from irrevocable damage
The Hill ^ | October 24, 2015 | Bradford Richardson

Posted on 10/24/2015 8:21:41 AM PDT by Isara

“One more liberal justice and they begin sandblasting and bulldozing veterans memorials throughout this country,” he added.

“One more liberal justice and we lose our sovereignty to the United Nations and the World Court.”

Cruz was critical of the high court after its decisions to uphold Obamacare and legalize gay marriage last term.

He said the Supreme Court should face elections in order to hold the nine-justice tribunal accountable.

The GOP primary hopeful also said Chief Justice John Roberts put on an “Obama jersey” in his King v. Burwell majority decision that upheld the Obamacare subsidies.

Cruz has surged to third place with 10 percent support in the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucus, according to a Bloomberg Politics/Des Moines Register poll released this week.

He is in fourth place overall in the race with 7.8 percent support, according to a RealClearPolitics average of polls.

Won't it be wonderful when President Cruz appoints supreme court judges and Federal judges just like him who follow the U.S. Constitution?

This is what Ted Cruz meant when he said that America is ‘one more liberal justice’ away from irrevocable damage. Below are the cases he won 5-4 at the Supreme Court.

Or if not elected president, the Republican president would appoint him to the Supreme Court.

Might be premature to start drawing plans where the new low cost condo will be built.

I have said many times, the same Freepers who say, “If my guy doesn’t get the nomination I’m not voting” are the same ones who will be bitching and moaning about liberal activist judges and wondering where they all came from.

If we could rid ourselves of the foolish notion that our liberty depends on elections, we can organize for what we really need. Liberal justice or Kennedy/Roberts doesn't matter. Either way we're now under arbitrary power. I'm really sick of pols and preacher saying we'd better embrace the coming persecution. If that's the case, why are we wasting money and political capital on the Second Amendment?

Ted Cruz should be appointed to the Supreme Court after finishing his 8 years as the President and appointing 100s judges just like him.

I have a dream: President Cruz, August 2023, on a 57-43 party line vote is approved to be a member of SCOTUS and resigns from the Presidecy.

Ted Cruz: Democratic SCOTUS Picks Usually Vote Like ‘Radical Leftist Nutcase’

He also criticized some Republican appointed Justices as “screaming train wreck disasters.”

“You know, Democrats are batting almost 1.000 when it comes to Supreme Court nominees,” Cruz stated to the Heritage Action presidential forum’s audience in South Carolina. “Every Supreme Court nominee they put forward votes like a radical leftist nutcase.”

“Republicans, we bat about .500,” Cruz added. “About half of Republican Supreme Court justices actually honor their oath to defend the Constitution. The other half are screaming trainwreck disasters. Earl Warren was a Republican nominee. Bill Brennan was a Republican nominee. John Paul Stevens, David Souter, Harry Blackmun, who authored Roe vs. Wade was a Republican nominee.”

Texas Supreme Court Justice Don Willett?

Michigan AG Bill Schuette would be a great pick for US AG or supreme court justice. He’s currently the campaign chair for Little Jebby in Michigan but he is a very solid constitutionalist.

Scalia, Kennedy, Breyer and Ginsburg will all be over 80 next year. If Hillary gets to replace them then a far left-wing oligarchy will be ruling over every aspect of our lives for the next 30 years.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

I think we have already suffered irrevocable damage. We have a uniparty that is corrupt, a judiciary that means to continue their liberal mandates, and a voting public that just wants more “free stuff.”

I would like ask Cruz why we have a second amendment. If one justice can cause irrevocable harm, it seems 2A is a bit pointless.

Tell that to the blithering idiots who keep loudly proclaiming the sheer insanity that there is absolutely no difference between the GOP and the Dhimmis.
