I would like ask Cruz why we have a second amendment. If one justice can cause irrevocable harm, it seems 2A is a bit pointless.

Cruz has made it pretty clear that he views the 2nd Amendment as a “check against tyrannical government.” I’m pretty sure he would tell you THAT is why we have a 2nd Amendment.
