I personally know that all of the tools, plans, and equipment were very safely put away. We knew ending production was absolutely stupid.
There is no aircraft in the world today with the capabilities of the F-22. It is even more capable than most people think.
With today’s F-35 overruns, more F-22s would have actually been cheaper.
Politicians should decide when to go to war. Besides that they should shut the hell up and let the military professionals make the military decisions.
