We Create American Jobs, Qatar Airways Boss Says

Qatar Airways chief executive Akbar al-Baker said Thursday that his company is helping to create jobs in the US despite an ongoing war of words between Gulf and American carriers.

Baker, speaking in Doha, also said he trusted American regulators to put passengers’ interests first as part of their investigation into the funding of the Gulf carriers.

U.S. carriers have launched a complaint that Qatar Airways, Etihad and Emirates break the so-called “Open-Skies” agreement through receiving government subsidies.

Undortunately the wrong jobs. I wish nuking Qatar would be the job.

You don’t suppose the fact that Qatar, Etihad and Emirates are all at or near the top of the reviews in terms of customer service and traveling experience and that Delta, American, and United are at or near the bottom might have something to do with their success?
