NYPD Officer Randolph Holder was killed in the line of duty earlier this week, and the life story of the career criminal who murdered him was all too predictable.
The police had gone looking for Tyrone Howard at least 10 times since Sept. 1, when, investigators believe, he rode up to a rival just after midnight and shot him. But 10 times he eluded them.

They are wrong.
The real problem is a violent thug culture, victim culture and entitlement culture.
Thug control.
adding to the thug problem is the drug problem and the gang problem. Liberals never want to talk about the drug problem and how it figures into the gang violence problem and how all of that contributes to the overall violent crime problem because they don’t want to have to admit that their biggest constituency is actually causing the bulk of the violent crime problems in this country.
Those Son Of Barack’s are a real problem.
Another troublesome thing is why are offenders like this so often waited for to put the “off” into officer before they get chased after in earnest.
Even in the case of the “sanctuaries” most will yield to a warrant. So why don’t we do that, instead of playing this paper rope a dope. Not at all clear to me.
Democrats created “The Hood” through their decades of welfare and now wonder why there are so many low-lifes out there.
Drug criminalization offers easy profits to gangs, enhancing their motive and means to commit violence. It's Prohibition all over again.
ending prohibition didn’t fix anything, it just created more alcoholics and more alcohol fueled crime and more problems for the American taxpayers. Legalizing drugs will do the same thing.
ending prohibition didnt fix anything,
"The lush traffic in alcohol beverages during the violent years of 1920 to 1933 had laid the base of organization for a number of criminal gangs. The termination of the ban on liquor deprived these gangs of their most lucrative source of money" - Special Committee to Investigate Organized Crime in Interstate Commerce
it just created more alcoholics and more alcohol fueled crime and more problems for the American taxpayers.
"consumption of alcohol actually rose steadily after an initial drop. Annual per capita consumption had been declining since 1910, reached an all-time low during the depression of 1921, and then began to increase in 1922. Consumption would probably have surpassed pre-Prohibition levels even if Prohibition had not been repealed in 1933. [6] Illicit production and distribution continued to expand throughout Prohibition despite ever-increasing resources devoted to enforcement. [7]"
"The Volstead Act, passed to enforce the Eighteenth Amendment, had an immediate impact on crime. According to a study of 30 major U.S. cities, the number of crimes increased 24 percent between 1920 and 1921. The study revealed that during that period more money was spent on po- lice (11.4+ percent) and more people were arrested for violating Prohibition laws (102+ percent). But increased law enforcement efforts did not appear to reduce drinking: arrests for drunkenness and disorderly conduct increased 41 percent, and arrests of drunken drivers increased 81 percent. Among crimes with victims, thefts and burglaries increased 9 percent, while homicides and incidents of assault and battery increased 13 percent. [42]"
