While Bernie Sanders was pushing socialism comparing the US to China, my wife and I were visiting Gramma Zheng in Hubei province, whose first husband died of starvation from Mao’s socialist policies. Gramma Zheng’s first husband would rather feed his wife and their three daughters the small amount of food rations available than watch them die of starvation, and although they survived, he did not.
Democratic Socialist Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders tweeted this week — “China – not exactly seen as a model when it comes to human rights – provides 14 weeks of paid maternity leave. The US provides zero.”
Actor James Woods tweeted in response – ““China has notoriously killed female infants for population control, you utter moron. #ChinaGendercide.”

Bernie shocks me with his assumed cliches and stupidity.
Chinese may get 14 week maternity leave, if you work for one of the debt-ridden, statist, inefficient, politically controlled state companies.
The problem with Bernie is that he doesn’t think things through. Kind of like a child. If he really wanted what’s best for America, he would fight to bring back good jobs, not to promote government handouts. Spoiled children want handouts and don’t want to work for a living.

We’re quite a bit like China already. Total political corruption. Suffocating govt regulation. Total govt surveillance.
We do differ from China: when we kill babies, we don’t just kill the girls.
The trouble with Chinese Communism is when you’ve had your fill, 30 minutes later you want more.
The goal of the elites is to have us become EXACTLY like Communist China.
An ostensibly capitalist economy where those in power still get to pick winners and losers, and enjoy all of the fruits of production. A docile worker bee population, controlled by a massive police state, who do what they are told and produce at the pleasure of their masters.
Whenever I see some progressive super genius touting Bernie I just ask them 2 questions:
1. How’s Comrade Bernie planing on paying for the shiny infrastructure?
2. What’s Bernie’s plan for making sure toilet paper is delivered with more reliability in the USSA than it was in the USSR?

What’s shocking is the degree of acceptance Comrade Bernie seems to have among the Generation XBox sheeple bleating their way along in Corporate Collective Amerika.
Why is that? Well for one thing, the generation born since 1989 has no standard of comparison between the USA and the USSR...
Tearing down the Berlin Wall, and putting the sheeple to sleep, was the smartest thing the Marxist state-establishment ever did.
Now that Clown Biden has announced he will not run [there goes any entertainment value], the Democrat voters have two Communist candidates to choose from. That’s some choice! Lord, I hate what this country has become!
China? Heck, Bernie’s shooting for Venezuela. He’s at that stage of a revolutionary wannabe where it’s about “Hey, I’ve done my part and destroyed and looted, Comrades! Now it’s up to you to build the perfect society!” Every generation gets to see this but not all of them learn right away.
