CENTRALIA, Wash. - Lewis County authorities are seeking the public's help in locating a 33-year-old Centralia woman who has disappeared under unusual circumstances and may be suffering from postpartum depression, according to her family.oher
Elizabeth Pham, a mother of three, reportedly left her home on Saturday morning and was last seen later that day getting out of a taxi and then ordering a meal at a restaurant at Exit 59 off Interstate 5, about 20 miles south of Chehalis, said Chief Stacy Brown of the Lewis County Sheriff's Office.
Pham was wearing only socks, purple pajama pants and a pink-and-red top when she was last seen, according to witnesses. She may later have been spotted sitting under a bridge near the Cowlitz River.
Elizabeths vehicle was located, unlocked with the keys inside, along southbound I-5 near near Toledo on Saturday evening by the Washington State Patrol.
Investigators believe Pham left her vehicle along I-5 Saturday morning, then walked to GeeCees Truck Stop at Exit 57, where she attempted to get a ride with a truck driver who was heading to Redding, Calif. An employee of GeeCees stopped her from getting into the truck cab and called a taxi for her, Brown said.
Once the taxi arrived, Pham asked the taxi driver to take her to Olympia. The taxi driver first stopped at Phams vehicle so she could retrieve personal items from it. The taxi driver described her behavior as "unusual and confused."
The taxi driver then dropped Pham off at the Shell station at Exit 59. She went into the Shell station, but did not buy anything and stayed in the store for about 20 minutes. Witnesses say she then walked to Beasleys restaurant, where she ordered a meal...

Sheriff seeks publics help in finding missing 33-year-old Centralia mother
[snip]
What we know so far is that she drove her car to just before Milepost 58, got out and left it running, walked in purple and white polka-dot pajama pants, a purple top and no shoes, walked from there to GeeCees Truck Stop, where she attempted to get a ride where she attempted to get a ride with a truck driver who was heading to Redding, CA. Employees there stopped her from getting into the truck and called a cab. She informed the cab driver that she needed to get to Olympia. When the cab driver got there, he took her to her car where she removed her makeup bag and a couple of items out of trunk and headed back where she requested he let her off at the Vader exit at the Shell station. We know at that point she went into the shell station for about 20 minutes, did not buy anything. We believe she went into the Beasleys restaurant, also did not order anything and she was last seen heading towards the (Cowlitz) river and around 12 oclock we believe she was spotted sitting under the trestle staring out at the river, said McDonald.
If you have any information on her whereabouts, call police or detective Jeremy Almond at 360-748-9286.
is postpartem the newspaper’s guess? family’s guess?
Either way, massive search party pronto.
Pictures on news - TV and internet.
No one noticed she was in PJs?
Prayers out.
Great biscuits and gravy.
Way out in the sticks.
Oh yeah, several people noticed and tried to help her, apparently (according to articles).
I think the postpartem is the family’s guess. I’ll look at the article again.
It sounds like suicide. I bet they’re going up and down that river.
Damn. She’s just tooo close to that COLD river.
I think the article got it spelled wrong - I looked at a Google photo of it and I think it’s “Beesley’s”.
Gotta look again at that.
Didn’t want to ask. Was going to ask what the weather was like where she is.
Just south of the HWY 12 on the east side of I5.
Dive teams have searched part of the river, it appears.
Dive Team Finds No Signs of Missing Centralia Woman in Cowlitz River
Lewis County Swift-Water Team Deployed Wednesday to Look for Elizabeth Pham, Who Was Last Seen Staring Into Cowlitz River Near Toledo
The Lewis County Sheriffs Office Swift Water Team spent five and a half hours Wednesday searching the Cowlitz River for signs of a Centralia woman missing since Saturday.
The river should be about 40 or 45.
Crystal clear.
Per chance is she or has she taken any anti depressants Like Paxil or others...
Also sounds like Ambien although classically those folks are in a totally different dimension until it wears off
She sounds from your description quite confused and wearing Pajamas is a very child like indicator of mental issues that may just be surfacing due to stress or other changes that snap the thread to reality...
I pray she is safe and has not fallen too far into her well of despair, I have been there and it is hard to climb back out if you have your mind made up...
Praying for her and the Family...
What was an elephant doing in her pajamas?
Good Grief. I read the article. Didn’t say where hubby was.
Dont know at all what to make of this story, except she is pretty, young and has children and please someone find her fast.
If it was postpartum, sometimes the pills to combat it can cause odd effects.
Was wearing pajamas out of character for her?
