Obama Plans Takedown of Another U.S. Ally Cliff Kincaid

President Obama failed to take out Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu but now he’s going after Canada’s Conservative Party Prime Minister Stephen Harper, a big supporter of Israel and opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

It’s a story the U.S. media won’t cover. But Judi McLeod of the Canada Free Press has been documenting how Obama is planning the “fundamental transformation” of Canada by taking down Harper’s government and bringing to power a progressive majority assembled from Canada’s Liberal Party and New Democratic Party (NDP), an affiliate of the Socialist International.

In a dispatch earlier this year, McLeod provided the facts about the interference of Obama campaign operatives in the Canadian elections scheduled for October 19. “In Canada, Obama’s campaign team is guiding the election campaigns of both the Liberals and the NDP,”She urged the Harper government to investigate.

She explained why Obama is targeting Canada: “To the U.S., Canada is the country next door, to Obama it’s home of the architects of the maligned Keystone XL Pipeline and home to the world’s Number One elected defender of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”

Indeed, for the last seven years Harper has not only been supporting Israel but functioning as the leader of the Free World, in the face of Obama’s deal-making with America’s enemies and adversaries. In 2014, at the summit of G20 nations, Harper famously told Russian President Putin that he needs “to get out of Ukraine.” Putin replied with a lie, saying the Russians weren’t in Ukraine.

Harper has declared, “Israel is the front line of free democratic nations, and any who turn their back on Israel or turn a blind eye to the nature of Israel’s enemies do so in the long run at their own peril.”

The only thing Obama will be ‘taking down’ is Reggie at the next Martha’s Vineyard getaway.

He has no pull anywhere but the pull the GOPe allows him to have.

The amount of vitriol against Harper by Canadian leftists, esp. the youth on social media, is hair-raising. The leftists are out in force and command the dialog in most media circles.

Canada elections: Israel loses ‘best friend’ as Justin Trudeau defeats Stephen Harper

Israel has seen its foreign policy allies dropping like flies in 2015, with momentum building behind the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement, the Palestinian flag being raised at the United Nations and relations between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Barack Obama at historic lows.

Now Jerusalem has lost one of its staunchest allies in Canada’s Stephen Harper in the landslide election victory by Justin Trudeau, the 43-year-old son of former prime minister Pierre Trudeau, who won 184 out of 338 seats in parliament in a surprise win for the Canadian Liberal Party.
“I’m not here to single out Israel for criticism”
- Stephen Harper, 2014

Harper was known for his refusal to condemn Israeli settlement construction – illegal under international law – and support for Israeli opposition to the P5 + 1 deal between Iran, the US and Europe, which brought to an end Tehran’s nuclear weapons programme and raised the prospect of ending decades of isolation for the country.

An editorial in the Times of Israel ahead of the elections claimed Harper was “undoubtedly the world leader most supportive of Israel” and that Israel “was about to lose one of its best friends on the international stage... the Harper administration one Benjamin Netanyahu’s dream team”.

“The video raises concerns about Trudeau’s associations with various Islamic groups and individuals in Canada; his recitation of the Muslim convert’s “shahada” prayer during a visit to a particular mosque; and much more.”

Well, if we are going to meld Canada, the USA and Mexico together into a North American political entity, a progressive government in Canada would certainly make that much easier to attain.

Makes one wonder if the Obama team did not also import their vote flipping schemes into Canada to skew the election.

Canadians oust Keystone champion

Liberal victor Justin Trudeau blamed Prime Minister Stephen Harper for increasing tensions with Obama.

President Barack Obama will wake up Tuesday with a new Canadian leader who’s more interested in helping him reach a global climate change deal — but the long continental chill over the Keystone XL oil pipeline isn’t over yet.

Canada’s prospective new leader, Justin Trudeau, led his Liberal Party to a decisive win at the polls Monday, with the Canadian Broadcast Corp. projecting liberals would hold a majority of seats in the government. Trudeau unseated Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s Conservatives, whose nine-year reign has been marked by notable friction with the U.S. over Obama’s slowness to decide on Keystone.

Harper conceded just before midnight, saying the responsbility for the loss was “mine alone.” The Conservative Party separately announced that it will be seeking an interim leader, the CBC reported.

The Alberta-to-Texas pipeline, a linchpin of Harper’s energy strategy, has drawn fire from environmentalists in both countries who call it a symbolic threat to the climate effort. While Trudeau is also pro-Keystone, a fast rejection of the pipeline by Obama could give a new Liberals government time to pivot away from the controversial project to open a new chapter in continental relations.

“Unfortunately, Mr. Harper has narrowed the entire relationship with the United States to a single point around the Keystone XL pipeline, and he went to New York and criticized and harangued the President,” Trudeau said during a televised debate last month.

Obama is the Destructor in Chief and has done nothing but screw things up.
He should have stayed in Community organization and fed himself from the Largess donated to Acorn by a compliant bunch of federal Morons.

TI’d be willing to bet Trudeau’s win had more to do with a fevered female electorate than it did anything the jug eared boob in the White House did.

Obama failure to oust Netanyahu had to sting. No doubt he’d take any measures he could (legally or not) to remove an ally of Bibi. It’s sad to see our Canadian neighbors fall into the same horrible trap that we did with Barry.
