Hi Perdogg... hope all is well.

He doesn’t belong with the Socialists. Hopefully, some Dems still have common sense and will see what their party has become.

It would be great to have the liberal vote split for once.

Better news would be Mao Sanders running third party to split the Hitlery/Biden vote.

Fixed. Somebody forgot to tell Mr. Webb what fascism really is.

Wonder if he’d be open to being Trump’s running mate?

He should make a public show of joining the Republican Party, then Trump should pick him as VP running mate.

Jim Webb considering independent run

By Ben Kamisar

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/257359-jim-webb-considering-independent-run

Democratic presidential candidate Jim Webb will consider an independent bid for president amid protests by the candidate that the Democratic Party rigged last week’s debate for Hillary Clinton.

Webb’s campaign emailed out details to a press conference for Tuesday at the National Press Club with the subject line: “Jim Webb to consider independent run.” During last week’s debate, he only had the chance to speak for 15 minutes compared to about 30 minutes for Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, according to NPR.

“It was rigged in terms of who was going to get the time on the floor by the way that Anderson Cooper was selecting people to supposedly respond to something someone else said,” Webb told the audience last week at an event for the Council on Foreign Relations.

“It’s very difficult to win a debate when you don’t have the opportunity to speak the same amount of time on issues as the other two did.”

Webb, a Vietnam veteran and former senator from Virginia, is averaging just over 1 percent in an average of recent polls, according to a RealClearPolitics analysis. That’s ahead of both former Govs. Martin O’Malley (Md.) and Lincoln Chafee (R.I.).

Only if Webb can be assured of a Bush purge from the GOP.

It would be great to have the liberal vote split for once.

Liberals don't like Webb that much. That may be why he's thinking about running as an independent.

His problem there is that he's angling for the same populist demographics as Donald Trump.

If Trump doesn't run, it will help Webb. If Trump gets the GOP nomination, Webb ends up with pretty much nothing.

Maybe he's thinking he'll have some regional appeal, but there's no way he could win.

“Bernie should be running as an independent!!!!”

I was wondering the same thing. Since he’s always run as and Independent, he isn’t a registered RAT/ Also wonder why the RAT Party doesn’t make him sign a “loyalty oath” like the GoPees did with Trump? Webb was the only semi-decent human being on the stage at the “debate.” I hope he does run!
