Marco Rubio: Disney's outsourcing 'enabler'?
World Net Daily ^ | October 17, 2015 | Leo Hohmann

Nevada construction worker Paul Arnold will be standing out front of Disneyland in Anaheim, California, Saturday with his 8-year-old son, leading a protest and calling for a boycott of the iconic American company for its anti-American hiring policies.

But more than anything he said he’ll be protesting the policies of GOP presidential hopeful Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.

It was Disney’s decision to fire 250 tech workers in its IT department and force them to train their foreign replacements. The Indian workers who will replace them will come to America on H1B “guest worker” visas and earn about $62,000 per year, compared to the $100,000 salaries of the Americans they replaced.

Arnold said he realizes that the entertainment giant was merely taking advantage of laws that allow businesses to give American workers the heave ho in favor of cheaper foreign labor — but it’s members of Congress like Rubio who are the real problem.

Rubio, who supported the immigration reform bill that passed the Senate in 2013 but died in the House, now wants to triple the number of H1B visas handed out to temporary guest workers every year. He is co-sponsoring the “I-Squared” bill with a group of Democrats and moderate Republicans.

Rubio, who portrays himself as a strict conservative on the presidential campaign trail, “just doesn’t get it” when it comes to outsourcing American jobs, said Arnold, who heads up an anti-amnesty group called Make Them Listen. [...]

H-1B ping. Let me know if you're not on the list and want to be added (or are and want to be removed).

[“just doesn’t get it”]

Oh, yes, Rubio “gets it”. He’s on the Cheap Labor Express intended to replace American workers wherever they can. Just like Jebby Traitor Bush. They smile and beg for donations, hoping the frog doesn’t realize he’s being boiled alive.

They are all sellout whores. Or prostitutes. Pick your preferred metaphor.

Cruz is another supporter of increased H-1B visas.

Disney did this after posting record quarterly profits.May they rot in hell.

I hate to point this out but Ted Cruz is on board with this stuff also. I believe he wants to increase the H1-B visas by 500%. Somebody correct me if that’s not true.

Why couldn’t Disney have just offered the current workers a choice of a reduced salary or a layoff? A lot of companies have cut salaries and hours.

The H1b still makes more than me in this case. Maybe I ought to get an Indian name?

I 0 sympathy for our corporate masters that sell out their own citizens for short term gains.

because Disney is building a park in Bejing. The knowledge they transfer to those people will be shipped to the park over there.

Yeah, people who think this is an accident and not calculated probably think the Iran deal is just an error in judgement.

If this man truly believes that Rubio “doesn’t get it” then he doesn’t get it. The joke is on him and the rest of us.

They know exactly what they are doing and they are committed to it and they have infested every level. They are extending their high-paying jobs by figuring out how to shaft other people out of even making a living.

All the while shipping American medical records overseas where some of them will be lost forever. And no doubt other info.

And yet between this and millions of illegals, Americans don’t seem to grasp why identity theft happens quite regularly.

So, they vote in the same old backstabbers, again and again. How men like Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham on the RINO side and other Dems keep their jobs is beyond me.

How do you force a fired employee to train a replacement?

I believe it.

I would throw in about half the management of state government agencies.

I have traveled the world, and American workers are overall the best....just NOT the cheapest.

Yes indeed, the uninformed of KY, SC, etc. must not know what they are doing, imagine that!

How do you force a fired employee to train a replacement?

By denying him unemployment compensation and a few other benefits if he does not do as told.

A lot of Americans support “cheap labor” too; so long as it is not themselves at a disadvantage.

You are correct and especially if they profit because of it, personally.

This is the kind of behavior that totally pisses me off!
