On September 22nd the UN’s Climate Change Secretariat launched Climate Neutral Now, a website that estimates an individual’s carbon footprint based on whereabouts, recycling habits, energy use and so on. Offsetting any resulting guilt is easy: the site takes donations to fund clean development projects. And yet I just read an article this morning saying we’re headed to an Ice Age.
I heard Wisconsin will be getting measurable snow this weekend. Wonder if they could ship some out to NV. Hmm. Anyway, the new u.n. site should be an awesome guide on how to increase my footprint to help prevent the cool down that may or may not be coming. Or the warm up that may or may not be coming. It kinda like the erf has done this at least a couple of times. Too bad there weren’t any news crews around to cover it.

For anyone that has to use a rescue inhaler you know how much they cost now that govt regulated the propellant. Who gets the added $50 per prescription? Someone in govt? Did it save the Ozone layer? I am sure it hasn’t as it was never in danger. Rich people and those whose insurance pays for it don’t care, but us small people that buy our own know the price is at least that much higher than for the same thing a few years ago. It will be the same with carbon tax, cap and trade or whatever else the tyrants put upon us. The peons suffer with higher prices, the rich and govt workers will not notice, and the climate goes on as before. One other thing will not change, the BIG SHOTS with government ties, fire up their stogies as they rake in billions from the sale of NOTHING.
Yeah but Australia is getting hotter.
I pledge to keep my carbon footprint below the average of Steven Spielberg, Elton John, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, and the Obama Family.
