Every conference I go to and speak at, I find what I call the "very religious" or "overtly religious" like Carson. They see Trump, with his wealth (like Carson is only "merely rich") and his divorces and his language as a sort of Philistine.

So no one is "pumping up" his numbers or support. Yet it is absolutely clear to me that if by some chance he were to win the nomination---despite current polls to the contrary-- he would be quickly destroyed by the media and Dems. They are trying now, but Trump still deflects them.

Most of these voters are a "Trump parking lot"---at least some of them are. As a Christian I hate to categorize these "overtly religious" religious as "holy rollers" or single issue voters but some are, just as some of Cruz's supporters are such conservative purists that Trump is "too Prigressive."

The biggest question of this election is whether these portions of the Carson and Cruz supporters will unite behind Trump.

Here is the bad new for Cruz.

When you look at 2nd choices, Trump get the bulk of the Carson support and vice versa.

I think Trump is in the driver's seat at this point. It is his election to lose. However Trump still has work to do.

To many people he still is not trust worthy or Presidential. Trump is very smart to not go after either Cruz or Carlson. Their supporters are people he will need down the road.

Trump should keep doing what he is doing. Drive the GOPe candidates out of the race, keep showing himself trustworthy and Presidential. That Jeb plant really helped Trump. He publicly and proudly stood up to the "war on Women" attack lie and said "I am pro-life".

The more people get to know Trump the better he does. He started out with a 60% "I will never vote for him" in June 2015. In the latest Fox poll Trump is down to 18% "I will never vote for him"

I have never seen a candidate turn around negative poll numbers as fast as Trump has.

Nevada caucus history dictates the GOP candidate with the strongest immigration stance wins the delegates. Which shouldn’t be a surprise since it’s the state with the highest per capita illegal aliens.

Not too late for those Senators seeking the top job to put some major legislation forward and make amends with the American people, but I doubt it. It’s all about “ME! ME! ME!” with those types.
