Wow: an MSMer who not only has many conservative friends, but is willing to admit it on live national TV?
On today's Morning Joe, in the course of praising Anderson Cooper's performance as debate moderator, Geist let drop that prior to the debate "many of my conservative friends" thought CNN would go easy on the Dems, but that five minutes in, they told him "oh, I guess he's not going to go easy."

Hell freezing over? MSNBC host admits to having “many” conservative friends.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Hahahahahahahaha!!! Libtards are so funny. Being a “tough time keeper” is NOT the same as asking tough questions, Willie.
Not really. I’m pretty sure they put that in quotes to acknowledge that it is BS.
BS! “Conservative friends”-—LOL!! Right! This is a pure BS typical lie. Its easy for them.
I thought he would too but in the end he may have ask the toughest question.
COOPER: Secretary Clinton, Secretary Clinton, with all due respect, its a little hard I mean, isnt it a little bit hard to call this just a partisan issue? Theres an FBI investigation, and President Obama himself just two days ago said this is a legitimate issue.
CLINTON: Well, I never said it wasnt legitimate. I said that I have answered all the questions and I will certainly be doing so again before this committee.
Cooper did say he wouldn’t set Democrats after each other, in direct contrast to the GOP debate.
Guaranteed outright pre-meditated lie, and a smart lie, if you think lying is smart.
35 minutes of opening remarks and commercials and I was ready for bed ...
The biggest problem for me was the drunken speech .... no. really ... every ONE of them ...
The white haired faggot lept saying seen ... for CNN .... sender for Sanders, and candayds for candidates
NO ONE pronounced government ... guvmint ..
I forget who, probablt Sanders talked about the peeber (people) ..
but I said to myself, no ... they're done ... let's get it on
And the mix of fact and fiction was just too much
After an hour, I turned it off, went to bed and fell asleep
I wrote the original article at NewsBusters [governs=Finkelstein].
I understand people being skeptical about Geist having conservative friends, but I am not. He went to college in the South, has always been more of a centrist on the show, and in recent times has been more outspoken in taking positions that if not explicitly conservative are at least somewhat to the right.
For example, he has said that more gun laws won’t stop criminals from getting guns. He challenged Nicolle Wallace when she thought the woman who aided the NY prison escape shouldn’t get jail time. He contradicted Hillary’s claim that her use of a private server was “allowed.” See links below:
Yeah, they sounded like tough questions but when Hillarity knows what questions that are going to be asked, she knew how to answer them.
Cooper didn’t ask Bernie how he was going to PAY for all that free stuff.
And I guess Hillary thought that all lives but those in Benghazi mattered. Or maybe because there were no black lives lost in the Benghazi fiasco, those lives didn’t matter.
Yes, and he did.
That collusion was readily apparent by the way she answered many of them in a heartbeat with well thought out responses. Scripted.
He asked some tough questions but when the candidate
changed the subject, he didn’t pursue the issue.
You are right about that and I felt the same.
I trust nothing from MSNBC.
