Isn’t that part of the job description for most O-6s?
I thought having a brown nose was requisite for elevation to O-7. Some of the smarter guys do make it to O-7 and by-pass the brown nose, others outsmart the system and play sheep in wolf’s clothing long enough to get a star then make a real difference.
