“Anyone who attacks Paul Ryan as being insufficiently conservative is either woefully misinformed or maliciously destructive,” said Representative Rep. Tom Cole (R-OK)”

Let him go on Mark Levin’s show and debate that.

“Far right”. The left’s characterization of conservatives as far right is laughable. Conservatism only seems “far” right to them because they have veered so far to the left that ideas once considered centrist appear far to their right. That gulf was widened by the left’s slavish devotion to 0bama and his Marxist ideology, and their abandonment of a rational thought process.

When the NYT gets behind the next GOP speaker, it’s the Kiss of Marxism.

[King Paul: Ryan will run only after Reps pledge ‘unconditional’ support...

No opposition, no demands...

Must show ‘they are prepared to follow’...] (from Drudge page)

Do we need more?

FYI: Cole is an establishment guy. Not exactly a lib, but certainly of the “old boy’s network. We have 5 Congressional seats. Cole is the weakest. My Rep, Lucas, is very conservative, but not bright and easily co-opted with any type of farm bill. Russell has yet to make a mark.

The other two, particularly Bridenstine are reliable conservatives. He went to Washington to fight the old boys and clashed with Boehner the first day.

Note:

ANYBODY to the right of Hubert Humphrey or JFK is ‘far right’.

FYI, there IS no ‘right’ wing. There is ONL ‘far right’.

Tom Cole is my representative unfortunately. I would love to see a conservative challenger take him down.

Look we need to make sure that we get someone who respects the process, can keep the crazies in check,is willing to work with the other party on vital issues to get things done in Washington for the donor class. It's ridiculous that reliable men like John,Eric, and now Kevin are being pushed out of power by these idiots who believe in an 18th century document that no one cares about anyway! Once we get this mess straightened out we can work on that Trump thing and help Jeb get back on track. This is our party and these people need to understand that the direction is determined from top down not by the so called base. Well if need too we can always get help from the media and even our good friends in the other party so we'll right the ship soon enough.

Factually the Times is correct.

Levin, Drudge, et. al. HAVE stopped what would have been an automatic coronation of McCarthy, and now Ryan.

And God Bless them for doing it!

The Washington Cartel view this as a revolution.

The “little people” are supposed to do what they are told, care what they are told to care about, and vote the way the media tells them to vote.

If they do not do the above, the whole “manufacturing consent” paradigm, created in the 1930’s, goes out the window. A limited, representative republic becomes plausible.

They lose their gravy train and effective aristocratic status.

They are afraid, very afraid.
