Scarborough Slams CNN and Other MSM 'Trump Deniers'

Says Joe Scarborough, if Jeb Bush had Donald Trump's poll numbers, the media would proclaim the race "T-K-Over." Yet rather than touting Trump's commanding lead, the liberal media speculates instead on the Donald's "exit strategy." That had Scarborough blasting CNN and other MSM outlets as "Trump deniers" on today's Morning Joe.

Why is the MSM unwilling to give Donald his due? Scarborough suggested the media should "just admit: we hate him so much, that even when he is trouncing everybody, we loathe this vulgarian from Queens who we've never accepted into our club and screw him, we're never going to give him any sort of respect." Concluded Joe: "I call them Trump deniers."

Scarborough should note that fighting Trump deniers begins at home. A week ago, MSNBC ran an item by Chuck Todd headlined "Trump plots his exit strategy."

Shades of Peter Jennings: Pollster Charlie Cook appeared later on the show, and was a prime example of Trump denial. Echoing the late Peter Jennings' explanation of the GOP landslide in 1994, Cook accused Republican supporters of Trump and other outsiders of having a "temper tantrum" and predicted that Trump's support would fade.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: John Heilemann said it last week and I've heard a lot of other people follow up by saying that if Jeb Bush had Donald Trump's numbers, the race would be called.

MIKE BARNICLE: Over.

JOE: T-K-Over.

WILLIE GEIST: I don't understand the question, when the guy is at the top of the poll and he's been there for what, four months now, the question is: when will you decide to get out of the race? What?! Why would he get out.

JOE: By the way, so, we do our orphanage work usually Friday nights, because we work so hard --

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Stop!

JOE: -- so we say goodbye, we leave the orphanage, leave Hoboken--some wonderful kids over there by the way, wonderful kids. We come back over here and I'm in my, I walk past a TV, I turn it on, it's CNN: swear to God, I love CNN, great people there, salt of the earth. A 10-minute segment, I kid you not --

MIKA: Oh tell me.

JOE: "Trump's Exit Strategy." And they talk for 10 minutes about how Donald Trump is getting ready to leave -- you know he's a business man after all, he's a businessman, and he's smart. Donald Trump is planning to, I mean, Trump's exit strategy. And I sit there going: what am I missing and I look at a New Hampshire poll which --

MIKA: That's what you're missing.

JOE: We should show you a New Hampshire poll. And I started adding up. If you add up like just about everybody else's numbers: add up Jeb's, add up Marco's, add up Cruz's, add up Rand Paul's, add up Lindsey Graham's, add up all of them. They don't even come close to Donald Trump's 32%. And the conversation continues. At what point does the media just admit: we hate him so much, that even when he is trouncing everybody, we loathe this vulgarian from Queens who we've never accepted into our club and screw him, we're never going to give him any sort of respect. At what point are they just going to say, okay, this is about math. I called them Trump deniers last week; they're math deniers."

MIKA: Oh, totally.

I think the important, yet unacknowledged, point nobody is talking about is that it’s not Trump himself or what he says or does the establishment, MSM and talking heads are worried about as much as they are worried about what his candidacy and current ratings say about the electorate. In other words, they are terrified that we are beginning to realize that we have a 3rd choice and a voice rather than accepting candidate A or candidate b. They may hold the purse strings but we outnumber them a million to one. We decide the election when given a choice. Trump is that choice.

Do Jeb, Carly and Roob still have a pulse?

Their outbursts at the last debate were supposed to be the salvation of the establishment and donor class. Jeb took some gutsy little jabs at The Donald and stood on his tippy toes.

The audience was even full of invited handpicked donors who would clap at all the right times.

Kinda like there are a group of ‘extremists’ who don’t take commands well. How can they be manipulated if they won’t listen?

The media and the political establishment in the republican party are upset because they are both accustomed to selecting the republican candidate for us.

For different reasons of course, but they have usually been successful in eliminating real reform candidates.

They want us to have two candidates in the general election who are indebted to and invested in the good-old-boy, business as usual, Washington political machine.

That way they can always say we voters had a choice and picked the candidate we wanted.

But insiders know that they keep control either way because both candidates are selected to make sure the only choice we have are candidate that are going to play ball with the establishment pols and the crony capitalists who they serve.

"Angry Wife Face"

Heh. I didn't bat an eyelash when Trump came up with the "that face" remark, because I (and likely legions of others) actually agreed.

How many times to I have to say not to... blah blah blah yack yack yack!

This is getting to be yet another bizare liberal Orwellian rhetoric. When Teump gets elected, liberals will say Trump is about to resign, or that Obama is still really the President, there was never an election of Trump.
