Thank you. Bunch of indoctrinated pipsqueaks, but I love how he didn't pander to them and cave in over their little lefty pet causes, like abortion, feminist superiority and Korea — he just forged ahead unapologetically with his position. I am loving this. At last, the inmates don't get to run the asylum.

I especially liked his view of the huge expense of European/NATO/Korea/Japan defense, and that we get nothing back for these gifts to wealthy nations.

This is what Trump said about the Tea party in his book, Time to Get Tough: Making America Great Again:

"One group that has already won is the Tea Party. The Tea Party has done a great service to the United States. They have made all politicians look seriously at what’s wrong with our country, including America’s $15 trillion of debt.

The media continuously bash the Tea Party. Nothing could be more unfair. In fact, when the Tea Party held a rally recently in Richmond, Virginia, they were forced to put up $10,000 to take care of insurance and barricades—and they gladly did it."

Trump, Donald J. (2011-12-06). Time to Get Tough: Making America #1 Again (p. 187). Regnery Publishing. Kindle Edition.

“These are people in all fairness, these are people that love this country. They do love this country and they want the country to be great,” Trump defended. “They don’t want Planned Parenthood funded… I understand that.”
The crowd booed, but Trump didn’t budge.

jeb and marco would have caved and whimpered about understanding their point of view.

This applies to all candidates, does it not? it’s a crap shoot whether any of them will do what they say they will do. The reason I believe Trump more than others is his track record of doing exactly what he has said he will do in business. He places great emphasis on backing up his words with actions. His name is also at stake and he doesn’t want to harm his “brand.” That’s very important to him.

Was it planned that he would talk to a “left leaning crowd?”

Joe Leiberman, Al Gore's running mate and a former Democrat whose Orthodox Judaism began to present a conflict as the Dem party moved farther and farther left until Leiberman finally left the Dems and went Independent — invited Trump. It looks as if they are long-time acquaintances. Best that can be said is that Leiberman has the left-leaning habit, but his conscience pulls him toward the center. Trump almost cancelled on learning of the left-lean of the group, but then decided that being there would be about halfway worth it — at least that is what I took from his intitial remarks about "50%."

the liberals feel insecure unless they are being heavily and increasingly taxed.

ask a liberal if they approve of alaska giving each citizen money, and you will get a puzzled reaction, eventually followed by vehement denials and suggestions that you are crazy.

Then they will explain that what happens in Alaska does not matter, that Alaska is not a state that “matters,” and that only stupid people live in Alaska— people such as Sarah Palin.

An example of a state that “really matters” to liberals is New York.

Bringing up Sweden in such discussions will be considered sufficient grounds to stomp off in a huff.

Now you know why they insist on calling themselves "No Labels".
. . . because they want to censor the information which a label would impart.

So much for Trump being accused to taking a Populist stance by playing to the Audience. They Booed The Trumpster, LOL.

How did the other Republicans do who were speaking there?

No Labels = All Liberals.

Liberals believe that people should serve the state.

Conservatives believe the state should serve the people.

Exactly: no labels = all liberals

It’s the Left that never wants to be identified for what they support.

He is a Hillary stalking-horse, you know.

HMS (Her Majesty's Ship) Hillary has taken a full spread of email server torpedoes and is listing 30 degrees, belching smoke and small secondary explosions.

Droolin' Joe looks like The One, now.

Rush talked in great length today on his radio show about this so-called “No Labels Group.”

Rush played clips from Trump’s speech, too.

Wasn’t the No Labels group started by Mccain’s chief of staff, Steve Something or other? I vaguely remember that he and other RINOs organized after the 20008 election to do more work to reach across the aisle. So of course, they would be anti- tea party. I hope Trump realizes that, and these are progressives who want to reach out to the “precious middle.”

“leftism” is based on lies, to put it bluntly.
So “labels”, which inherently accurately and truthfully describe something,
are rejected.
