Yeah, speaking of big pharma, I have a scrip issue now. My former employer scrip plan allowed me to get a particular med for $40 for a 3 month supply. Cancelled and now, when I went to pharmacy for a one month supply, the cost is $4,000. With my part D supplement insurance, it drops to a mere $1,200. Guess what? Put it back on the shelf. Let’s see, if I didn’t have insurance or was homeless and destitute, I could get if for free. Sucks doing the right thing. Still looking for a way to get it that doesn’t force me to sell my house and everything in it. Not life threatening but for sure quality of life. Contacted the drug company for their discount card-—— Of course my retirement income and SS push me past the threshold number.
