NAT planes and misses are better than the Russians.

Obama’s wet dream might come true, God Help Us.

not to mention I read on breitbart yesterday that Rubio and Bush are calling for WAR with Russia.

Why would they do that?

They are bankrolling and instigating the muzzie invasion of Europe.

...if they come under threat during missions over Iraq...
IOW, an unremarkable order. Russia doesn't belong in Syria and has no complaint coming.

Syria has long been a Russian client and they do belong in Syria if Syria wants them

There are Russian planes with Russian markings flown by Russian pilots. There are very few Syrian planes. Again, what are doing there? What will we replace Assad with? Recall what happened with Libya. Our clueless leaders have some sort of fantasy in mind.

No Democrat has yet allowed a reasonable ROE. Also, the conflict could instantly go global. Why are we risking it? What does the United States gain? Nothing I can see.

Americans said almost exactly the same thing about Japanese pilots before WW2 and early on, they learned better the hard way

Depends on the mission and matchup...

Not as easy

Russia doesn't belong in Syria and has no complaint coming.

Well, they have as much right to be in Syria as does Britain or the US. Which, IMHO, is no right at all.

Actually, Russian pilots flew fighters in the Korean War, the Vietnam War, possibly the Six Day War and all over the Ukraine.

I can't imagine that there are enough trained Syrian pilots still left that can efficiently fly these fighters.

So, no matter what we hear on PBS, Russian fighters in the ME are piloted by Russian pilots.

This is what happens when the United States of America leads from Obama’s arse. This POTUS is the most inept, incompetent, unlawful, arrogant, ignorant, ideologue ever elected. And then we made the same mistake TWICE. Shame on us.

As long as they leave the Jews alone we should stay out of Russia’s way.

Then nothing can go wrong.

The air combat would be against Russian jets, not Russian pilots.

There are most certainly Russian pilots in those Russian jets.

And if we shoot down one of them, things will go poorly in the aftermath no matter who is in the pilot seat. Of course they might possibly shoot down one of ours - in which case things will go poorly in the aftermath, no matter who is in the pilot seat.

If only someone could come up with a better plan...
