If you look better to eat than what you are feeding the reptile it might be time to find a knew line of work.

They used the head to unwind it. How did they do that after it was cut off...oh wait. The snake lived, how foolish.

one of the two responding officers, Lt. Gregory Ripberger, knew to uncurl the snake by grabbing it from its head

Making a note of this, just in case.

AL WILSON - THE SNAKE

She clutched him to her bosom, "You're so beautiful," she cried
"But if I hadn't brought you in by now you might have died"
She stroked his pretty skin again and kissed and held him tight
Instead of saying thanks, the snake gave her a vicious bite

"Take me in, tender woman
Take me in, for heaven's sake
Take me in, tender woman," sighed the snake

"I saved you," cried the woman
"And you've bitten me, but why?
You know your bite is poisonous and now I'm going to die"

"Oh shut up, silly woman," said the reptile with a grin
"You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in

"Take me in, tender woman
Take me in, for heaven's sake
Take me in, tender woman," sighed the snake

Wilkens was feeding the snake Monday morning when the 125-pound python attacked.

Mental note for future... be more careful whenever and wherever I find self feeding a python.

I saw today on an FR thread where folks were commenting on a person such as Obama being elected (twice no less). This poem (metaphorically) is the reason ... so pretty (charm, charisma & bullsh!t), but still a poisonous snake.

*************************************************

She stroked his pretty skin again and kissed and held him tight
Instead of saying thanks, the snake gave her a vicious bite

“And you’ve bitten me, but why?
You know your bite is poisonous and now I’m going to die”

“Oh shut up, silly woman,” said the reptile with a grin
“You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in

The snake just wanted to give his owner a hug.

Used to work with a guy from South Africa that had a newspaper clipping about farmer and a snake.
Late for lunch, the wife finds him engaged a large snake.

He had chewed chunks out of the snake!!! And was covered in bites from the snake!

He always said how tough the Boers were and that they all had huge calf muscles(?).

He was very slender and his family came from England.

“Collins says one of the two responding officers, Lt. Gregory Ripberger, knew to uncurl the snake by grabbing it from its head, eventually freeing Wilkens.”

This is an incorrect way to deal with a snake. The preferred method is to kill it by any means available.

There is no snake (human or reptile) that does not deserve a good killing.

Yes, a very good analogy.

Thanks.

As one of the comments on the video said: “beats the scorpion story to hell”

I love lyrics that are poetry as well. Thanks!

Why even import those creatures in the first place. If anyone wants one, let them go where those creatures live.
