Jeb, this isn’t working. You’re a bad candidate, and all you’re going to do now is damage the guy who can beat Trump. Is that what you want?

From our standpoint, a very good set of reasons for Jebbie to stay in as one of the wounded GOPe hyenas ripping out the guts of the other wounded GOPe hyenas.

In my opinion fear other another Bush is what is driving much of Trumps support.

If Bush dropped out now, I think people would become a little more rational about who they support.

I like that Jebecito thinks he needs to attack Rubio to gain relevence. The two of them rolling on the ground in a hair-pulling contest while the rest of the pack ride away with the race would be ... satisfying.

We need Jeb to stay in until the Florida primary.

After that, Trump won’t need him anymore.

Many of us are already rational and are supporting Trump. I assume you mean many more would realize what Trump has ALREADY accomplished if Jeb is forced out of the race. Many more will turn to Trump because he's already engaged US citizens in the discussion.

Exactly why I don’t want him out. The odious Bob Corker won the nomination in TN because two excellent, but disastrously egotistical, conservatives split the vote, letting him win. Now that the GOPe hyenas are after each other we want all of them to stay in to destroy each other.

Why should he drop out? SO long as the Gope wants him he is the designated candidate and the primaries won’t change that, If the Gope determines it prefers someone else to lose in November it will sideline him and replace him. The primaries don’t matter a hell of a lot nor do the polls or the crowds. The Gope goal is not to win but to honor the next guy in line with the Nomination which is the highest honor a Gope can receive. The only way someone else can prevent the Gope candidate from winning is to somehow prevent the Gope from winning 8 majorities in the primaries. Badly as Bush is doing early, he is almost guaranteed to win those eight majorities in states like Connecticut and Massachusetts. Winning 8 primaries with majorities gets Bush the Nomination regardless of what happens in all the other primaries. That is how the rules are set up.

Hmmm, that works too ;')

f Bush dropped out now, I think people would become a little more rational about who they support.

Every person I know who's supporting Trump is doing so for COMPLETELY RATIONAL reasons. (If you think I was screaming in your face with all those caps, you're right...I was.) I find a lack of reason mostly among those who are opposed to Trump and who attack his supporters, thinking that if they can just figure out the right insult, that'll motivate them to leave Trump and support their candidate.

Being a Bush, I’m sure he feels just as entitled as Hillary does.

I don’t see him dropping out, no matter how bad it gets.

¡Yeb! is still the choice of The Cheap Labor Express and the RNC.

Until he officially drops out, he is still a threat.

They will try anything to get him nominated.

Remember Mississippi!

In a word... 'Yes'. Although, he wants to damage both Trump and the guy that can beat trump.

Jeb is sitting on a hundred million dollars - he can buy himself a new image any time he wants. He won't be dropping out, and the Jeb of January will look positively Reaganesque in the ads.

He may well lose the nomination, but his money ensures he'll be there until the end, and polling in the 40% range.

It isn’t some generic. “another Bush” it’s unregulated immigration specifically.

That leaves pretty much two candidates, Cruz and Trump.

I would like Cruz. I could hold my nose for Trump.

Other people who are more pragmatic than I am look at the two and assess Trump as being more likely to be able to secure the nomination in the face of all the shenanigans the Republican party power brokers will throw out there.

your brother’s catastrophic presidency

His successor makes W look like William The Conqueror by comparison.

The lefties always sneak presumptions like this in. Why? Because everyone knows this as fact, of course!

No.

1. Scalps are good. Cantor, Boehner, John Ellis Bush.

2. The lesson of McCain. Leaving these guys for dead isn't good enough. McCain was roughly here in October. He hung around, and around, and we were stuck with him. Better field this time, but it is best to finish the job.
