More than 40 Syrian insurgent groups have vowed to attack Russian forces in retaliation for Moscow’s air campaign, in a show of unity among the usually fragmented rebels against what they called the “occupiers” of Syria.
The 41 Syrian rebel groups, which included powerful factions such as Ahrar al-Sham, Islam Army and the Levant Front, said Russia had joined the war in Syria after president Bashar Assad’s forces were on the verge “of a crushing defeat”.
The insurgents’ warning came as the chairman of Russia’s parliamentary defense committee suggested that Russian “volunteer” units could join with forces fighting for Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad.
Vladimir Komoyedov, the former commander of the Black Sea fleet told the Interfax news agency that Russians who had previously fought alongside rebels in eastern Ukraine “can’t be stopped” from going to fight for the Assad regime.
“A unit of Russian volunteers, conflict veterans, will probably appear in the ranks of the Syrian army,” Komoyedov said. “What brings volunteers there besides the cause? Of course it’s probably money.”

well it does seem that we have an undeclared war against Syria and all we have been bombing is the anti- Assad forces while ignoring ISIS to chop peoples heads off.
So yes why not do what you said seeing as we seem to leave or give weapons to the muslim fanatics in Yemen, Libya Afghanistan, Iraq etc.

I was in Russia when the Russians sent in the tanks and artillery to Chechnya.
The Chechens were allowed to evacuate Grozny. Their papers had to be in order, or they were “detained”. Those trying to evade the checkpoints were summarily executed.
After 48 hours, the aerial bombing and shelling started. They destroyed everything. Apartment buildings, schools, hospitals, mosques, churches, everything.
Then they sent the giant earth movers to bulldoze whatever was left standing, followed by tanks and troops.
There was no quarter for any survivors.
These groups will be utterly and completely destroyed. They won’t even be able to find their ashes.
You don't treathen Russia, you couldn't in America either before the Bushes, Clintons and Obumas.....

Nope, and it’s not likely you ever will. Closest you might get is photos of Grozny after the Russian invasion. Utterly devastated.
I was in Russia watching the TV in Jan 2002. The Americans were bombing Afghanistan with 500 lb cement blocks and laser guided munitions to avoid “collateral damage”.
All the euro-weenie tv newsies were wringing their hands over the barbaric americans.
Meanwhile, on the Russian news, they were covering the Russian operations in Chechnya.
Not . one . word from the euro-weenies about the scorched-earth ROE the Russians perpetrated on Chechnya.
And that is how you win wars. Our gov’t seems to have forgotten how to do that for the past 70 years.
My understanding is Grozny was the most heavily bombed/destroyed city in the history of modern warfare. True? False? Who knows, but it sure took a beating....
The boy king would be shaking in his booties from that threat. OTOH, Putin eats such threats for breakfast.
Oh great, now Obama will be caught giving Intelligence on Russian deployments/sorties to Syrian terrorists.
