Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al Abadi says Baghdad is willing to share anti-ISIS intelligence with Russia, Iran and Syria Oct 4, 2015 08:06 GMT

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al Abadi announced on Saturday that Iraq will share anti-ISIS intelligence with Russia, Iran and Syria if cooperation is requested.

“We have been fighting ISIS more than a year and we have some important security information that no other country has regarding ISIS,” Abadi stated during a press conference which took place at the presidential office in the capital.

Abadi also stated that he would welcome military equipment assistance from Iran, Syria or Russia, while referring to Moscow’s recent aerial bombardments in Syria in support of regime leader Bashar al Assad.

“There aren’t any obstacles preventing the coalition of four [i.e. Russia, Syria, Iran and Iraq] from arming the Iraqi military against ISIS,” he said.

Russia’s intervention in Syria began on September 30 which launched its first air strikes on civilians residing in opposition-controlled districts rather than on ISIS militant groups.

UK Defence Secretary Michael Fallon said following Moscow’s action in Syria that Russian President Vladimir Putin was “shoring up Assad and perpetuating the suffering.”

UK, US, France, Germany, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey all condemned Russia’s intervention in Syria, stating that it was clearly not targeting ISIS.

On the other hand, Iraqi President Fuad Masum welcomed Moscow’s aerial engagement in Syria earlier this week, and PM Abadi announced adding that Baghdad is patching up a plan which involves Russian air strikes against ISIS targets in Iraq.

This is the takeaway from all of this:

““There aren’t any obstacles preventing the coalition of four [i.e. Russia, Syria, Iran and Iraq] from arming the Iraqi military against ISIS,” he said.”

Boy, Obama’s coalition is really number 1 now. Or should I say, “Number 2?”

The coalition of four

I'd say the Kurds deserve to be recognized in this coalition as well and they're already on the record supporting Russian efforts in Syria.

I don’t believe Kurdistan is recognized as a sovereign nation capable of making independent foreign policy

But yes the Kurds announced full cooperation with the Russians

Which probably sent Erdogan on his own weekend vacation like obama

Maybe they are golfing together on Martha’s Vineyard

The obama family must be having a good vacation
Haven’t seen any news or pictures from Martha’s Vineyard

Nato (Turks) bombing their people probably has something to do with that.

"probably sent Erdogan on his own weekend vacation like obama"

Don't forget that Russia and Turkey are traditional enemies, the Turks have got to be freaking out over this.

The minute the Chinese land, I am certain that the problem of ISIS will be wiped out and China will learn her military capabilities. This is a perfect chance for them. Meanwhile I hope our military leaders are watching carefully and making sure that they learn how the Chinese military operates.

The Chinese say they are just going to provide advisors
They probably have special forces who would love to assist in going after Uighur fighters

China and Russia are providing (at this time) special forces operators, logistics troops, and air support. Iran and Hezbollah are providing the bulk of the ground units.

Thus far have only seen reports of the Syrian army engaging with Russian and Syrian air support

But Hezbollah was being moved north so perhaps soon

The only reports of actual Chinese military involvement were Debka but I believe they will send forces, air and ground, I am guessing in Iraq once base permissions are secured which seems underway
