At some point 80-90 percent of the flights ended up returning to land with the same ordnance load it took off with.

AS I read earlier the comment:

I remembered that I had written as a response to actions in that area of the world, that what our military needed to do, was to hit all the inhabited targets in the area of concern, at 0100 in the morning, with napalm, in the spirit of obtaining a Carthaginian peace.

Other NATO pilots there have complained that they do only 1 mission a day (and that’s all those countries combined). Canadian pilots have grumbled about just sitting around on most days.
It’s pretty damn obvious Obama - who is ultimately in charge of all those forces - doesn’t really want to fight the terrorists.
