Does the West Prefer ISIS to Putin?

Posted on 10/03/2015 9:52:10 AM PDT by pinochet

Russian jets are bombing ISIS targets, and Western nations (the US, France and Britain) are denouncing Putin for those attacks. It is obvious some governments of the Western world want ISIS to win and take over the Middle East.

For Heaven's sake, Putin is the only major world leader who is outspoken in defending the Christians in the Middle-East. Western governments do not care about Christians, whether in the Middle-East, or in America and Europe.

If leaders of the Western world no longer believe in the God of the Judeo-Christian tradition, then they have found an alternative god, Satan/Allah.

If the leaders of the Western world are demon-possessed, you would expect them to protect ISIS from the Russians. And they are doing exactly that.

If a nation has a domestic policy that is not guided by the values of the Bible, but, instead, pursues a domestic policy that is hostile to the Bible, then you cannot expect Biblical values in its foreign policy.

Yes.
The US has been aiding ISIS since, well, Benghazi, if not before.
The Euroweenies want a pipeline through Syria to the Med to deliver NG and reduce dependency on Russian gas.

On the other hand, Putin is playing his own geopolitical game . . . and playing some Christians for dupes.

ISIS is an Obama creation. It is not surprising he prefers them. I have a feeling that before 2017, he will have them unleashed over here [The U.S.A,].

Putin just keeps looking better and better all the time.

Not too late to draft him for President of the US?

(Oh, HELL! Do I HAFTA include the < /sarcasm > tag?)

Ronald Reagan won the Cold War.

The American Left--in its stupidity and decadence--reignited the Cold War with Russia as the world's great superpower--made the U.S.A. so weak and feckless as to leave America with the choice of ISIS or Putin.

Unless the Left and the decadence are stopped, America will be dominated by foreign enemies, and the American people and their children will be at their mercy.

Want to be at the mercy of ISIS? Putin? China? ANYBODY?

I am not a Putin fan, but do I have to choose who is the worst?

Since we have Obama, I have a difficult time choosing.

At least Putin wants to fight ISIS.

The 100,000+ Syrian "refugees" Obama is going to bring in on an expedited basis will be Muslim/ISIS/Brotherhood shock troops for just that purpose.

Would it be legal for him to be president of Russia AND the US at the same time?

Yes. The administration does not regard Islamists as a strategic threat (and never has). They seem to believe Islamists can be bought off, in one way or another. Whereas, they see Russia as the true strategic threat, particularly if there should be some accommodation between Russia and Europe - giving Russia strong influence over the Eurasian continent.

>>>>On the other hand, Putin is playing his own geopolitical game . . . and playing some Christians for dupes

If you were given a choice between living in Russia, or living in ISIS controlled Syria or Iraq, what would you chose? America does not want to send troops to the Middle-East to contain ISIS. Putin is willing to do so.

By crushing ISIS, Putin is not just fighting for Russia’s interests. He is fighting for the interests of American Christians. In Russia, you can worship in a Christian Church of your choice. In Syria and Iraq, you get your head chopped off.

I can understand that people with a cold-war mentality are afraid of increasing Russian influence in the Middle-East. If the West did not arm ISIS, this would not be happening. Russia is cleaning up the mess that the Obama administration created. If the Middle-Eastern nations became like Russia, you would be able to visit those nations without the fear of having your head chopped off.

The West will never be able to control ISIS, if ISIS takes complete control of Iraq and Syria.
