You’d think, then, that being fat would do the same thing. Horizontal dimension rather than vertical, but still more cells.

Yes.
And so the secret is to be an amoeba.
Hard to type on a keyboard, though.

Great... I’m a 6’-8” and of Swedish descent. It was nice knowing you guys.

So I read the article, I wanted to find out how tall, taller is, no baseline height mentioned just for every four inches of height you are more susceptible to cancer.
I guess if you are three inches tall don’t worry about it.

It’s not the cancer risk that I don’t envy tall people over, it’s the airplane seat. 5’7” works for me just fine.

I am not that tall and got a stage one melenoma on my chest. Caught it in time, have full body scans every three to four months. Every time I go they take a little something off. Had a small spot removed the other day and am waiting results. It’s like death by a thousand cuts!

It all balances out. Tall people are judged better looking and more intelligent, and make more money. It’s also harder for us to buy clothes and fit into Corvettes.

“In the case of skin cancer, they are closer to the sun.”
And, they have more skin cells. Mutations are a numbers game.

I guess I’m an exception to the rule. Had cancer 7 yrs ago and I’m only 5’10” . The Oncologist gave me a thumbs up over a year ago, pray hes right.

From my 5’3” viewpoint, 5’10” is tall. Glad you’re doing well!

They arent saying its absolute but relative. I stick with my response, relative eh, an abortionist is practicing medicine relative to a butcher.
