Berlin (dpa) - Less than four weeks ago Chancellor Angela Merkel seized on the outpourings of support in Germany for refugees fleeing the world's war zones to declare the nation's readiness to accept the newcomers.
But the mood in the nation appears to have become far more sober recently amid deepening political tensions in Merkel's conservative political bloc, friction at overfilled refugee accommodation and a seemingly endless stream of asylum seekers heading for shelter in Europe's biggest economy,
"Our absorption capacity is limited, even if it has not yet been decided where these limits lie," Germany's largely ceremonial President Joachim Gauck said on Sunday. Germany expects up to 1 million asylum seekers this year.

The citizens need to check Merkel’s bank statements. Particularly large deposits from ragheads like the saudis.
First thing I would do. A major forensic accounting job.

A demand to cancel Octoberfest wouldn't surprise me
They have no interest to acultureate to the new countries they moved to, but rather that the new countries ignore their own culture, heritage, religion , etc., etc...
They have no intention to ASSIMILATE !!

As you probably already know, from my previous posts, I love Horst Seehofer.
I’ve thought for a while that Merkel is either being blackmailed by Obama, or she’s been bought.
There are no other rational explanations for her destructive policy of allowing the Muslim hordes in and her fanatical devotion to continuing such a policy, to the point of strong-arming and bullying any EU country that disagrees.
I spent last weekend at Oktoberfest, there were no Muslim hordes, they’ve been moved well away from München.
Bayern München 5 Dinamo Zagreb 0, Champions League Group stage at the Allianz Arena, good stuff.
I received an email from out now grown German exchange student a few weeks ago. He was all liberal mush headed about them - good workers for the country, the ones coming in were the very best educated, they wouldn’t change Germany’s base, diversity!, liberals good/conservatives bad, world peace and kumbaya horse hockey. I wanted to ask him about how their demand to ban Oktoberfest and German citizens being kicked out of their homes won’t change Germany’s base but maybe I’ll wait a few more weeks for more shiite to hit his rose colored glasses.
A guy I know is over in Germany now, visiting relatives. A three week tour that ends on the fifth. I’ll get his take then.
I know one thing for sure, HE won’t be happy about this shit.
Think of what happens when native Germans start to remember just how efficient they were at killing large numbers of people.
The latest opinion poll, Merkel dropping more, she was at 40% approval, she’s now at 38% approval.
This is a woman, who for the previous 10 years rarely dropped below 70% approval. How much she’s dropped in one month is telling the true story of what Germans think of her allowing the Muslim horde in.
They’re not ‘refugees’...
As I’ve said for a while, Merkel’s finished, stick a fork in her, its now not IF its WHEN.
She’ll not be Chancellor by Spring, heck the way she’s dropping it could even be before Spring.
