This is why a guy like Trump can be the leader in the primaries — conservatives are tired of it.
It’s like Congress’ job description is “Act royal. Beyond that we don’t care.”
Being uber-conservative in stated policy means quite little when you then sit obediently (to the manners of the “institution”) in a corner not doing very much and acting above it all in any case.
A new breed of politician that has no patience for this is needed.
