Exclusive: Joe Biden backers hiring staff in more states in hopes of 2016 run

A group of Joe Biden supporters trying to build momentum for a White House run by the vice president is hiring paid staff in about a dozen crucial primary states.

The political action committee backing the vice president, Draft Biden, has begun building operations in 11 states holding primary elections on "Super Tuesday" in March 2016, two of the group's officials told Reuters, an important series of votes for any candidate seeking their party’s nomination.

Draft Biden doesn't have a firm number for how many staff in total it will hire in those states, said Josh Alcorn, a senior advisor to the group, but the recruitment process is under way.

Whatever the number, adding paid staffers in the 11 states suggests a growing confidence within Draft Biden that Biden will mount a challenge to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, the front runners for the Democratic presidential nomination.

The expansion means Biden would have a far broader and more sophisticated infrastructure than previously known should he decide to enter the race.

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden (C) is greeted as he arrives for Pope Francis' speech before the U … Alcorn said Draft Biden is also adding paid staff in Florida, where the primary is held two weeks after Super Tuesday.

I’m pretty sure he’ll be their candidate.

Joe Biden is an idiot Trojan horse. Inside rides the true candidate of the Chicago Bolsheviks - Deval Patrick. He has a long history with the commie puppetmaster, David Axelrod. It was reported last week that Obama’s support for Biden’s run is predicated on Patrick being VP. He is also a work-averse fool like Obama and will, in turn, be ‘handled’ by a covert co-president - Valerie Jarrett or a like substitute. Biden will have a convenient aneurysm and find the 25th Amendment invoked faster than he can look it up.

What’s happened with the report here on FR, that the Clinton camp has gotten word to Crazy Joe that he’d better not run or he will be hurt SEVERELY?

The Obama people have Biden’s back. If an accident should befall him or if he should get hit by lightning, Hillary goes to jail.

Deval is not nearly as smart as Obama. He will be a total puppet.

He was a silly governor in Massachusetts, but the state is/was already so liberal that he didn’t (IMHO) do much more lasting damage than that which had already accumulated. If you look up his career prior to governing, it was all race-influenced social justice type activities centered on the prison system (he was given a Federal appointment).

The famous line, “Yes we can!” was tested first by Axelrod on Deval, then reused (I don’t think plagiarism is an accurate description) by Obama.

A front man, not a real actor.

The only way he runs is if Obama assures him that Hillary is going under the bus.

Biden would be somewhat harder to beat for Trump or Ted Cruz. However, any GOPe candidate would lose to Biden in a landslide. But that is ok, I would rather see Biden in the White House than a GOPe’er anyway.

Why do we keep calling them GOPe and RINOs anymore?

They are democrats who ran on the republican ticket and will continue to do so.

I agree Trump or Cruz. I wouldn’t be thrilled, but i’d pull the lever for Carson.

Agree.

I said it a month ago and I will say it again: Hillary will withdraw for 'medical reasons'.

This will be a 'threefer':

First - The e-mail investigations will go away.

Second - The Clinton Crime Foundation will remain intact (no IRS or other investigations) and

Three - The money kept. There will be a lot of angry people who gave money banking on a President Rodham-Clinton, but since she was 'sick' they will have no recourse.

Prediction: Biden-Warren Ticket
