I’ve got a rhododendron that could run. It’ll do a better job.

Might as well run a potted plant.

Sheriff Jones is a stone cold badass! He is all over the illegals in Butler County. They fear him. They hate him.

He would be AWESOME in DC! He does not suffer fools, wimps, RINOs OR liberals!

Does he have any money at all? If not he has next to no chance.

I don’t know if any of them have campaign funds as of now. I’ll be interested to see if the Senate Conservatives Fund selects a candidate to support for this seat. They do an OUTSTANDING job of vetting the candidates before endorsing and supporting.

Seemed there were two 'Tea Party' supported primary candidates against Boehner (2014 Congressional election)
J.D. Winteregg
TROY, Ohio, April 15 (UPI) -- House Speaker John Boehner’s opponent in the Ohio Republican primary election on May 6 doesn’t have much chance of winning, but that didn’t stop him from taking a few low blows in a campaign video.

J.D. Winteregg released a spoof of a Cialis ad promoting erectile dysfunction drugs on Sunday that mocks Boehner’s “electile dysfunction.” "Your electile dysfunction? It could be a question of blood flow. Sometimes, when a politician has been in D.C. too long, it goes to his head, and he just can't seem to get the job done," the ad says. "Used on a daily basis, Winteregg in Congress will help you every time the moment is right, to have your voice heard at the federal level."

Eric Gurr
House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) has a challenger in the 2014 Republican primary for his House seat. Businessman Eric Gurr is challenging Boehner for the speaker's congressional seat, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Gurr told the paper he decided to run against Boehner after he backed U.S. military action in Syria.

"It was a tipping point," Gurr said. "I'm not a big fan of getting involved in the internal politics of another country."

Gurr also took issue with Boehner's approach to immigration reform, which the Speaker said needed a more incremental approach than the bipartisan Senate bill.

"They keep saying the immigration system is broken," Gurr told the Enquirer when asked about his opposition to the Senate bill. "That's absolute nonsense."

Gurr, the CEO of computer consulting firm the Best & Brightest Inc., admits that his chances of beating Boehner are slim given the speaker's influence and deep fundraising resources. Boehner has repeatedly easily won reelection in Ohio's 8th congressional district.
