Winteregg Releases Statement on Resignation of Speaker Boehner
Winteregg for Congress ^ | 9-25-2015

Winteregg elated at the news that John Boehner is resigning.

(Troy, OH) – In the wake of the announcement that Speaker John Boehner will be resigning, JD Winteregg has released this statement:

“Like most other conservatives, Americans, and Ohioans, I was elated when I heard the news that John Boehner would be resigning. While I thank the speaker for his years of service, I think this news speaks volumes about the state of Washington DC, the GOP, and conservatism generally.

Every voter I talk to is disgusted with the abysmal failure that is the Republican resistance to Barack Obama. We need candidates who are committed to actually doing everything in their power to halt the slow march of this agenda, and who will not give in to the establishment in Washington DC.

I was the only candidate who was willing to make that principled stand against Speaker Boehner before this announcement, and I will continue the fight against any candidate the establishment, K Street, or Chamber of Commerce runs in John Boehner’s place.

Since I was the only person willing to run on principle, and not just when the seat opened up, I am the only candidate that the voters of the 8th District of Ohio can trust to stand up to the Republican Establishment and the Democrats once elected. Moreover, I am the only candidate the voters can trust to vote for a true conservative as the next Speaker, and not more of the same."

While I'm not endorsing anyone for this seat at this time, I think this young man deserves to be heard.

Boehner does not want to visit the SLAMMER under a Ted Cruz administration..
What he’s done is licking the heels of treason..

Republican “resistance” is an oxymoron.

"While I thank the Speaker for his years of service..."

Well I personally do NOT thank Boehner. He has been well compensated for his "work" and I owe him nothing, especially this stupid saying that politicians always seem to spout.

Before the Congressional district boundaries were redrawn after a Census, I was in Boehner's district (now I'm in Jim Jordan's). Back then I thought he was pretty good. However, he evidently drank the Koolaid, or from the Potomac, or something, because he really went wrong. I'm glad to see him go.

We may just have well still had Pelosi as speaker seeing how Boner did nothing at all good for his party or his country. He’s either a coward who won’t fight or he is compromised by blackmail or something.

Does anyone think that Obama and the dems wouldn’t stoop to blackmail?

No, I think this has been in the works for a long, long time. This was introduced in the the Congressional record in 1963 about the communist goals for here in America.

One of the goals is to take over one or both parties. I think we've successfully seen that and now we need to fight back like we are doing and expose these traitors.

For reference: Communist Goals (1963) http://www.uhuh.com/nwo/communism/comgoals.htm

Oh and I forgot to mention, I hope Boehner leaving is the start of the American version of the communist house of cards come crumbling down in our government. It needs to for our Constitution to survive.

With the Pope addressing our government, what powerful consequences that could come of it. We can only hope and pray for such results.

Does Winteregg have any money?

Some State legislator will probably take the seat.

Boner has made a deal with Piglosi to fund all of Obie’s dream of total transformation for the next two years. The is the capitulation - will we ever know the payoff?

HOW BOEHNER’S CONGRESSIONAL SEAT WILL BE FILLED:

http://www.cleveland.com/open/index.ssf/2015/09/special_election_will_select_j.html

EXTRACT:

“A special election will be held for House Speaker John Boehner’s congressional seat...There will be a primary and general election for the seat, and one election could align with an already scheduled election, such as the March 2016 primary.

Per state law, Gov. John Kasich decides the election dates. A Kasich spokesman said Friday his office was discussing the process with Secretary of State Jon Husted’s office.

Husted spokesman Joshua Eck said staff members are preparing different models for potential primary and general election dates, but Kasich has the final say....”

It drive me NUTS when being a representative is referred to as service. They are payed well, stick around way too long and serve only themselves and their lust for power.

If it were really service there wouldn’t be so much money spent to get the office.

So, gay’s itch has set the special election date, primary on March 8th (a week before the state’s regular primary so this isn’t to save money), general on June 7th.

4 months to the primary then 3 more, absolutely ridiculous amount of time. Vacancies should be filled fairly promptly.

Maybe, the special election will be as soon as possible. Ohio is probably like Illinois, where candidates get about three months to collect petition signatures and have time to challenger one another’s petitions.

Nope. It sounds like the Governor has a shiteload of discretion. Only thing is military voters need at least 45 days for absentee voting.
