Delaware "noose" discovery false, actual remnants of lanterns, reports say

Officials of University of Delaware stated that the three items hanging from the tree in Newark were not nooses or evidence of a hate crime, NBC10 reports.
Initial reports claimed that the three objects were "nooses" and that police were investigating the incident as a hate crime. However, school officials report that the items were only remains of paper lanterns decorations.

And I think all those church fires in the south were done for the insurance money. No one was ever linked to those and it seems everyone is afraid to state the obvious.

That anyone would take these claims seriously, investigate them etc. really is troubling.
Paper lanterns or pop tarts, it’s all very bad. It has to be bad. And hateful. Bad and hateful! Ban paper lanterns!
The Ole Miss one on the statue of James Meredith was legit, but that’s the only one I’ve seen so far.

It is an unfortunate truth and is part of tbe historical record.
