The Beginning of the End for Trump: His Sarah Palin Moment
Heff Po ^ | 9/22/15 | Arianna Huffington

Posted on 09/22/2015 10:39:11 AM PDT by upchuck

... moment in the political life of every big-personality, more-sizzle-than-steak candidate when they step across the line of legitimacy, or illegitimacy (depending on your perspective), even for media addicted to the high ratings these candidate-entertainers provide. That moment for Sarah Palin was her Katie Couric interview in 2008 -- the hockey-mom-has-no-clothes revealing from which she, and the McCain campaign, never recovered. In Donald Trump's candidacy -- which The Huffington Post is appropriately covering in our Entertainment section -- the equivalent moment might have just happened.

It was not the moment in the second Republican debate when Carly Fiorina carved him up like an Easter ham with her withering "I think women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said" zinger. That drew blood (as did the dramatic 12 seconds she remained silent after her response), but it wasn't fatal. No, historians looking back will peg the beginning of the end of the Trump show to his New Hampshire moment last week. Taking questions at a town hall event in Rochester, Trump listened as an audience member asserted that President Obama is a Muslim, "not even an American." Trump looked the man square in the eye, and declared: "No ... He's a decent family man [and] a citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign's all about. He's not [an Arab]."

Just kidding. That was actually what John McCain -- the one Trump said is "not a war hero" -- said to a woman at a campaign rally in 2008 who claimed that President Obama was an Arab. What Trump really said was, well, pretty much nothing: "We are going to be looking at a lot of different things and, you know, a lot of people are saying that."

The Beginning of the End for Trump: His Sarah Palin Moment

Wowww. Reads like drama. Is there a documentary coming? Nope. Another push story going nowhere. Next, please.

Arianna Huffington? Really? Seriously? That gal is as ditzy as they come. She will be proven wrong. She is one of the blabbering, Beltway talking heads & analysts that Trump supporters abhor. She is basing her assessment on past political campaigns. Trump's is like no other previously. He may not make it to the nomination, but he will have plowed a new road for everyone else that follows in the future.

People are fed up with the establishment politicians and all of their know-it-all hanger-ons. Ms. Huff and Puff is one of those.

Go to yahoo "news" and read the information sources, huff post, mother jones, rolling stoned. They don't prey on the low information voters, they created them.

"This week’s “This is the Beginning of the End for Trump” article."

Seems like the Libs & GOP-e are screaming, crying and pounding their little fists on the living room rug just about every day now.

What a load of BS. In Arianna’s dreams.

Trump will always be Trump and his best play here is to go after the MSM’s protection of Obama and remind them that it is the job of all Americans especially those running for office, to examine the acts of the President and other elected officials to see whether their acts match their oath of office and whether America and Americans are better off as a result of their office and acts.

Arianna thinks Trump need the MSM to love him? No, Trump needs to rebuke the MSM as he has in the past when they’re asking for it as they are here. These politically correct stooges whether the MSM or Fiorina in her “face” drama, need to be rebuked sharply, and when Trump does that, America cheers. When America cheers, sooner or later the MSM will tag along because it is a story, not because they “love” Trump.

Get a clue Arianna.

Worth repeating at this point Trump’s statement on Arianna Huffington.

“Her husband left her for another man. He made a good choice.”

Sarah was the only reason he didn’t lose by a much wider margin. She did as good as anyone could, at bringing McCain back from a stunning loss. His thanks was to let his team trash here, then ask for “A favor”.

Sadly, she granted it.

McCain is a very despicable man.

Huffington Post seems like it's written by a blindfolded three year old that only has crayons to write with and the staff has to try and guess what the kid has written and they make many mistakes (especially in logic).

Then the words are put into a blender and a homeless hippies glues the words together and places the paper on the editor's desk.

The editor throws a dart at the “World of Leftist Dogma” dartboard and ads the words that thrill all the Lefties.
The editor then drinks a quart of Thorazine and take a few electroshock treatment before the final edit.

The same thing happens at Rolling Stone magazine, except the hippies are not homeless.

Everybody I talk to including a discussion with a friend a half hour ago is supporting and voting for Trump. Absolutely no one I talk to is for anyone other than Trump. I talk politics everywhere I go. Even Democrats I know are voting for Trump.
