I guess that’s ok; but I really wish our candidates wouldn’t appear on these gotcha tv shows. I’m old enough to remember the dignity Johnny Carson afforded political people.
Ted isn’t polling too well. He needs to get air time and get more exposure. He’s my first choice, but it isn’t looking too good right now.
Don’t worry about Cruz. So far, he’s batting a thousand against the liberal pundants.
Ya gotta play the game to get caught!
As Rush likes to say, if the media makes you, they can (and almost always will') break you!
The media didn't make Ted.
Ted's got go where he can get noticed, even in the Lion's Den!
He will give them provocative answers without the "I'm really GREAT, did I tell you that and very, VERY rich besides!"
Since the so-called debate moderators refuse to give Ted the time of day, maybe he will get enough questions and gives enough "shocking" answers, he'll get asked about his answers or others will be asked about his answers, Lord willing and then they contact him about their responses to his answers!
Ted'd not unwilling to go wherever he can get some air time. Lord knows the Fox "stars" won't give him air play, only Hannity, Cavuto and other non-news shows.
I’m of a different mind about “gotcha”. I think it’s a great test for the candidate. If you can’t handle “gotcha” and live with whatever happens after, then this game is too adult for you.
And most “gotcha” questions aren’t “gotcha” anyway. Most of the time the politician just doesn’t know the answer and is covering. I think Ted will do just fine.
Cruz is a class act, coming and going:

CRUZ: I wish Gov. Walker and Tonette all the best in their continued service to Wisconsin and the country
HOUSTON, Texas U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, today released the following statement in response to the announcement that Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has suspended his campaign for President:
Gov. Scott Walker is a good man, a formidable fighter, and an effective reformer. Wisconsin is considerably stronger as a result of the changes he pushed through under incredibly difficult and contentious conditions. In the presidential race, his focus on new, innovative policy ideas made the entire Republican field better. I wish Scott and Tonette all the best in their continued service to Wisconsin and the country.
“I really wish our candidates wouldnt appear on these gotcha tv shows.”
Me, too!
